How is Infinite being made “in partnership with the community” like the latest dev blog says when they have been completely radio silent on the game for the past two years?
I believe there’s things like hiring mlg players, YouTubers, etc in the 5 years of production. This is off my head but for sure they hired a bunch of former pros

Lmao³
By that they meant the parts of the community that they wanted to listen to, so for example, not any of the people who don’t like sprint in Halo.

Ah so a select, hand picked group of the community that will smile and applaud anything they put out. A bunch of yes men.

Thats honestly what it feels like. I would love for 343i to prove me wrong but they have given us no reason to doubt this.

I’d honestly wait a little more. If they release a beta like last time things may get better

If a beta/flight/demo is done before launch it’s mostly for marketing at this point and server tests.
https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/news/campaign-evolved “When we first revealed Halo Infinite back in 2018, I spoke of our ambitions to kick off an early flighting program to bring the community along on our development journey. The Halo Insider program and public flights have been instrumental in bringing the titles in Halo: The Master Chief Collection to PC, providing critical feedback and input to help shape the best possible experience. With Halo Infinite, we are also committed to building the game in partnership with our community but given the unprecedented challenges of this year, we’re not quite where we expected to be in terms of broader public flighting.
While not the full program we had envisioned, we have been working very closely with the community on nearly every facet of the project. From the earliest planning where we focused on broad feedback around art style and story to actual hands-on playtesting and focus feedback with confidential groups of community representatives over the past two years, Halo Infinite is being created in partnership with the community. The team is still working and assessing options for broader hands-on opportunities before launch and we’ll share an update when we can, but this process doesn’t stop with launch. In fact, in many ways, feedback and community flighting will be even more important after launch as we partner together to continually evolve and update the game into the future.”
I am really concerned about "feedback and community flighting will be even more important after launch as we partner together to continually evolve and update the game into the future" Flights after launch???
Flights after launch would just mean they’re using paying customers as glorified beta testers. Remember when games were complete at launch?

The beta is being reconsidered meaning it’s probably not happening. I wonder what other promises to the community 343i will break with this one.
They better not be anti Flood growls and teenify the rating for more sales. Underage peeps are clever and will get hands on the game if they want and play no matter what. Speaking for when I was a youngy. So rating is more a guideline, not a rule.
Seriously the chosen ones better be objective but also consider getting things right regarding lore, canon and compromises that can please most parts of the community.
Like sprint and such in Campaign, none in Multiplayer, competive at least and instead increse base speed.
