I created it a couple weeks ago, and I’ve just barely put it on my file share.
Basically, I made a big box using Forge Island’s Green Screens, and I put random green screen walls throughout it, so you basically have no idea where you’re going most of the time, and the only indicator you have for any spatial awareness is other players. Feel free to edit it in any way you wish, just remember to rename it slightly if you put it on your file share, and don’t forget to credit me.
And don’t get me wrong, this gametype is complete nonsense, but if you love nonsense, this is definitely the gametype for you.
Also on my file share, I would like to suggest trying out the Super Happy Fun slide, another total-nonsense gametype, but admittedly, a lot more fun. Gametype/map created by NukleARRabbit and AZ Karmanukle 95, respectively.
Minimum 3 players, suggested 4+ players. (I dare you to do a full game of this.)
File share:

(just click “gametypes” and “maps” at the top, obviously.)
Note: Mild initial spawn problems on Green Screen, if you find yourself on the outside, just commit suicide.
Sounds cool, I will check this out
Oh, yeah, and a brief explanation of the Fun Slide, it’s Infection, where the flood start at the bottom of a gigantic ramp with unlimited energy Hammers + a random weapon, and the survivors start at the top with Mongooses and Warthogs (driver/passenger seats only), with a teleporter entrance/exit from the bottom to the top of the ramp for vehicles only. So, you try to hit the flood while trying to avoid them flipping you over.
And the Green Screen gametype has you start with limited ammo Hammers, and your Ordnance drops are either an assault rifle, two frags, or a fresh hammer. This is why I say “feel free to edit it”.

sounds like the “portal” map from halo reach. (there were a few variants of it)

Yeah, I think I remember doing that a couple times. But, if I remember correctly, it wasn’t much of a gametype, it was just kind of 100% screwing around. This one is more about actually doing something with it, as opposed to just flying through the teleporter over and over again.
For the record, the slide is much longer and wider than the one from Reach that I remember doing, and you can get control of your vehicle again, it may just take a few times through the teleporter to do it, if you’re going really fast.
Also, the Flood speeding you up in the 'hog to make you bounce and fly out of the map is a completely viable (not to mention hilarious) strategy they can use.
