Guys … as you see the title or you’ve seen the headline about the headsets, rarley seen any gamer use thier “headsets”
Why wont they just hook up with a worldwide KNOWN gaming company that makes awesome gaming stuffs, like Steel Series?

Am I right in thinking that Mad Catz make Tritton headsets?
They are extremely good from what I hear, little to no complaints.
mine tritton broke at the first week and you hear a constant buzz
if you want a good hset check turtle beach so they could make a turtle beach hset for h4

well i got and still using steelseries siberia v2 and ive had that for 1-2 months now and switcihg between the xbox and the pc, and i found it awesome only problem is that the sound in game is sometimes abit to loud so i cant hear people, for example in halo reach when driving car/mongoose

Turtle beaches are good. But the one I got had a million things wrong with it. (They screw came out, a Earpiece just broke off when I was playing, It makes noises I can’t hear but other people complain about a lot.

You can’t turn that down?

You go to your preferences on the Xbox guide and it should have a sound option like this:
Game Volume:10/10
Voice Volume:10/10
Just turn down the game volume.

been there done that, its not working it needs to be a setting in game like in Battlefield 3, you can turn down the “master sound” of the game.
i don’t have that kind of money. $100 is how much halo 4 is, I hardly got the money for that. Microsoft love to overprice stuff, their standard wired headset that comes with the xbox is selling for $30 in my eb games. To me that’s a rip-off as is a $100 fancy head set.
I’d much prefer Mad Catz’ Trittons to turtle beaches or other companies.
Tritton headsets are the second best headset on the market.
I would be interested in getting a pair but I have a pair of A40 BXR edition.
So these unless something REALLY special aren’t for me.
But I will say this, I had Tritton headsets for the longest time before getting my Astros.
Because unlike crappy turtle beaches that break every 3 months these are a solid build.
So quit -Yoinking!- about “oh quality is poor”
Because Microsoft wouldn’t be so stupid to go with a bad brand.
They even gave them full rights to use their wireless capabilities.

My Turtle Beaches have lasted quite some time and are very good. I suppose it’s a matter of personal experience and preference. I have personally had very few negative experiences with any third party peripheral for any console. I personally have never had anything from Tritton but my friend had their headset that came with a broken mic. But as always, that could simply be an isolated problem and telling nothing about the true quality of their products, same goes for Turtle Beach.

Why, what’s so special about Mad Catz Triton?

Yeah, you are totally right. I just have had nothing but issues with my TB Headset.
Never had an issue with my Tritton headsets. But we all know that Astros are the best.
The only thing that makes them unacceptable is the price.
but as a PC,PS3 and Xbox gamer made sense to get a cross compatible headset.
I kinda agree, but I don’t buy these headsets anyway so I can live with it. But Razer and SteelSeries would have been better.

Worldwide KNOWN? I’ve never heard of them.
