Machinima

I want to do a machinima series, so I’m looking for people to help build, generate plot ideas and take part. Reply if you want to do any of these or all of them.

I’d love to help out with body acting. PM me if you need my help.

I have experience in body acting, voice over but have yet to dabble in forge. I’m normally on after 9pm (central) and there in lies the issue I’ve had in the past. Let me know if my time frame works with yours

I may be able to help build the maps and create the story if you would like. I could also do some body acting and maybe a small part in voice acting

Hey i can help, im a creative writer, i do ict at college so im good at editing and i have body acted before and currently teaching my self how to voice act.

You can all help! Message me on xbox live and we’ll sort the rest out.

This is my initial idea-

Three UNSC Spartans have dropped into an insurrectionist-controlled city, seeking to eliminate the threat. There they are ambushed and captured. Later, a quarantine failure occurs and released infected. Amidst the chaos the Spartans escape and hijack a pelican and link up to a UNSC outpost where an infected follows them to the outpost and creates even more chaos. The Spartans rendezvous with another fire team and head to a forerunner facility to stop the infection from spreading. Let me know what you think and if any changes should be made.I’m currently building the first scene on forge.

You should make it where the Spartans have some kind of a hand in causing the outbreak. Having it just “happen” is bad storytelling in general. The Spartans could be attacking a Forerunner dig site held by Insurrectionists, which would make more sense as the Insurrection probably doesn’t even hold any major cities. It would be high-stakes from the beginning, as any Forerunner structure is important in some way or other. Of course, the Forerunner facility could be inside a city, and the Spartans would have to fight their way out on foot through a three-way battle between the ninja alien space zombies, the Innies, and the UNSC.

Ill help with body acting,im experienced with it.

It says your gamertag doesn’t exist?

I’m open to all.

I don’t mind being a body/voice actor, but I would much prefer to be part of the writing/plot development part of this project. HMU whenever, though I will contact you as well, maybe in 10 hours so we can discuss this in detail when I wake up.

Same I’d be willing to help body acting or help with writing it if you still need help with anything.

That usually happens. On wapoint or live?

Have the base plot, although you can tell me what you want to improve. Also, I could appreciate some actors.

Good idea. So an insurrectionist base on a forerunner structure? Come on forge at some time show me what you mean. Only one question remains though, drop pods or pelican? The drop pods would make more sense as they could be used in a covert assault trying to capture an object the ins are holding where it releases a zombie parasite hidden in the structure that opened up for them to escape once the object was removed. On the other hand, a pelican could be used for a huge battle between the UNSC and the ins but end up destroying an artifact the ins were protecting as it then released the zombies.

Just leave your characters bio here stating what they do and whether they’re infected, insurrection or a Spartan. Use this template:

Name:
Rank (use zombie if you’re infected):
Faction:
Primary weapon (also affects the zombies weapons, includes power weapons):
Secondary (leave blank if zombie, use a magnum or plasma pistol):
Speciality (like demolitions or pilot):
And any other information you would like.

I would like to join in on this shin dig. I’ve always wanted to be in a Machinima. But never got a chance. I’m pretty decent in Forge, mostly ship bases, and fillers. I used to take acting classes, and such back in the day. I have a variety of armors at my disposal. Acting and forging id like to get into within here. Gt: NuclearHonkey

Name: Gerry Günther
Rank: Sergeant
Faction: Insurrection
Specialty: Engineering
Primary Weapon: DMR
Secondary Weapon: Magnum
Other Info: Born to a life of farming, and everything taken away from him and his family during the Human-Covenant war. Seeing that the UNSC didn’t care about the people who lost almost everything, he decided to take up arms 2 years after the war. Gerry lost his home, his wife, and two young children. He carries their family photo with him everywhere inside of his journal where he writes down his thoughts and his concerns. Hoping to make a change for the better, Gerry volunteered to move to the Insurrection base to help with security and the research of the forerunner structure that they had found. Unbeknownst to him what this artifact was capable of.

Sounds good. I do think the spartans should be trying to open a gate or activating a turret and realize later that they opened the gate to a lab test subject (infected lifeform). Kinda like how Chief mistaked sending a message to Infinity but instead accidentally freed the Didact.

Name: Echo-One-One-Nine (E-119)
Rank: None, Freelancer (Petty Officer First Class Equivalent).
Faction: Insurrection
Primary weapon: DMR
Secondary: Magnum
Speciality: Reconnaissance and Infiltration
Other Info: Born into a family suffering in poverty, he was quickly sold to an underground human trafficking ring almost immediately after birth. He was later sold to be an underground military corporation known as The Foundry and received the codename E-119. The Foundry had “recruited” around 12000 orphaned and abandoned children to start a classified project known as Project Refinement. The main goal of Project Refinement was the creation of skilled mercenaries who were fearless and showed absolute obedience. At the age of 12, E-119 had already completed several small missions involving infiltration of Insurrectionists’ archives and armories. By the time he turned 18, only him and 34 other applicants had survived their training and missions, deeming the project a huge failure, sending The Foundry out of business, leaving the applicants free to live their lives. However, E-119 and a few others could not reintegrate into society and continued to work as mercenaries with an agency known as Armistice. E-119 is currently 23 years old and has completed over 145 missions, including destruction of Insurrectionists Factions as well as stealing UNSC/ONI equipment and intel.
There is currently a $2.5 billion bounty for his arrest, dead or alive.
He is very obedient, but is apathetic towards comrades and enemy. He is very discreet with his work and does not waste time when receiving intel.
