Hey guys be sure to check out the trailer for our new series! It’s really good! I’ve laughed so much just reading the current script and we’re DEFINITELY going to throw a lot more stuff in there that will make you laugh and keep you on the edge of your seat. The trailer itself is awesome. The music is great! The editing is great! But it’s only a small scene sneak peak so we don’t ruin anything for you.
Also, make sure if you enjoyed it, to like, comment, and subscribe! We’re trying to build an audience to so tell your friends.
My favorite quote from the trailer: “My Arm, GIVE ME MY ARM!” lol
Also, send MikeJPar, (If you go to the link above, just click on the author, (MikeJPar)), a message if you want a part in future films. There are still a few parts available for future releases!
I HAVE A NEW GOAL: When I get 200 subscribers, I will start doing voice overs!
Ok I will deffinatly watch it, but just some feedback.
you should download the program audacity and record your voices over that instead of Xbox live. (Trust me I know…)
Also I can’t really tell from the trailer, but try not to do one long clip, but you know different angles that don’t shake and jerk randomly, but I liked the comedy in it and I will check your series out!

Audacity is great… I use it for a lot of my vocal recording as well.
oh yeah I want to do that but I wanted my friends xbox to do recordings as well, which means they would all have to get that and send the recordings to me, it would be very difficult, also like and subscribe if you guys enjoyed it
as for the camera angle, i know, when we finished recording with !14 PEOPLE! we realised there was a tank in the background (some stupid kid goofing around) so we were forced with only 1 angle really

Yes it can become a hassle sometimes, but if you want a really solid machinima then you’re going to have to do it…
But the fact is, I only have like 30 subscribers right now, and even though the content is already good, I don’t see much point in putting in tons of extra work for voice acting until I get at least around 200 subscribers
OH AND WE DID HAVE A WARTHOG, you can still see a glimpse of it in the video, but I couldn’t really show it, because there was a tank behind it that we left and since there were 14 people it would’ve been difficult to redo it so I just stuck with the bad camera angle for the time being, it’s just a trailer, I can fix it later.
If we had a tank, however, it would’ve taken away from the joke, the point was for them to be underpowered
Your purposefully halting the ambitions and ideas of your Machinima Videos simply because you want more subscribers… Is the amount of subscribers that you have really an incentive for you?
If that is the case, then it is Directors like you that give other Machinima Directors and producers a bad name…
> Yes, I am, why would I waste hours on end to make a video slightly better if no one is going to watch it?
>
> Not to mention the equipment that others will have to buy or I might have to buy for them to do the voice overs.
1.) A Machinima Director’s Incentive should not be about making his/her fanbase the biggest one possible. The incentive should be providing memorable stories and unforgettable moments in which the Gaming Audiences (The Halo Community for this circumstance) can enjoy with a passion. The amount of subscribers you want should not be a primary motive. That is greed playing on your part…
2.) A Director does not need to have the most advanced software the create a good Machinima. Someone could create a Masterpiece using only Windows Movie Maker and another could create an abysmal failure using 3DS Max and After Effects. The tools are only as good as the user…
3.) If finding Voice Actors presents a problem then may I advise you go on sites like Voice Acting Alliance or typing “Voice Actor Demo Reel” on YouTube. There is a large range of Voice Actors that are willing to help…

Can you stop trying to be a narcissist?
That’s exactly my motive.
I didn’t say I needed advanced software.
I don’t need voice actors, I already have them, they just need computer mics.
Stop getting so worked up over nothing. Besides no one HAS TO just to make other people happy. But, you’re so high and mighty that making a simple comment of the fact that I set a goal for 200 subscribers before I start voice acting makes you go off on a rampage of words. I would do voice acting anyways. I’m just trying to get more subscribers. That is all.
BTW if you watch the first episodes of red vs blue, they didn’t have voice overs either. Just because a series has doesn’t have voice overs, isn’t a reason not to watch it. It hardly makes it less enjoyable at all. Everything that you need to understand can easily be understood without it.
I never spoke anything about myself as being the perfect being, the alpha male or numero uno. I don’t see how the points that I made can be deemed Narcissistic or anything like that for that matter. Please keep this discussion at a non-personal level…
What I was saying is that the idea that you would limit the quality of your work simply because you want more subscribers is absurd which in this case is voice-overs…
You say you wish to create quality work like I said in the first pointer. So why don’t you give it your all when making the videos? Why do you have to limit yourself? People are more likely to follow you if your content is good. If your saying that you will improve your work at a better standard once you reach your subscriber milestone then that’s going to take a long time…
Short Version:
Good Video = High Subscription Rate
Bad Video = Low Subscription Rate
Video with Top Effort = Increased Chances of a Subscription
Video with Bottom Effort = Decreased Chances of a Subscription
All I’m saying is why not go all in from the start? What is the point in waiting for more subscribers?
well you’re the first person to tell me that for both other then that the flashes show up too much but i did that on purpose
the select few that didn’t like it, didn’t like the fact that the audio wasn’t voiced over, or the camera angle, and maybe that the video didn’t show enough
i’ve never had anyone tell me anything about the music except that it was awesome, and the editing, yeah it wasn’t that great, i put it together in a few minutes, but nonetheless you are the first to tell me that so good for you man
