Machanic to make some weapons more useful.

Ok, so what I at proposing is that getting shot while unshielded can handicap players.

-Lead ammo based weapons can leave cracks in your armor and hud.(Like at Lone Wolf)

-Plasma ammo based weapons can slow you down, but if it hits you in the visor, you get some static…(Just like in CE) This will make Plasma based weapons more useful.

A Health kit will repair you, but until than, players may stick with a teamate. Teamwork can really help out.

that is actually quite an awesome idea. i like the bullet based weapons cracking the visor but how about instead of plasma wepons slowing you down they could make the screen ether flash or go static so both effect vision which would make it more balanced

Some good ideas. I think plasma weapons should only slow you down if hit on the head, and have a health/shield leech if hit in the body. (Like a burn) UNSC weapons should depend on where they hit. If you get hit in the leg, it should slow you down a little. In the chest, it should slow down turning around. Hit in the arm it should knock your aim to one side, making it ideal for someone getting shot at to hit the arm, messing the persons aim up requiring them to reposition their aim. If you get hit in the head it should make a loud smack sound and deafen your player for a little, as well as have your instruments spazz for a second. (I’ve been in a Racing Helmet and when something hits that thing hard, it sounds really, really loud and leaves a ringing in your ears)

the vision blur i can deal with but none of the aiming stuff, to random and would cause some undeserved deaths and frusteration

Yeah, it should definitely not affect aiming or movement, i mean, you get shot once, and you’re basically screwed. You can’t fight back, your body just flails about until the enemy kills you in 3 seconds. Not fair. I do like the cracks and static ideas though.

I like the plasma weapons idea, that’s pretty cool.
