As you may already heard, there are 2 strong theories about the identity of the Red Spartan in Locke’s team. Who do you think/want her to be: Macer or Tanaka?

Talitha Macer - At the age of thirteen she enrolled in the youth wing of the Sedran Colonial Guard, where she quickly proved to be incredibly smart and resourceful as well as an innately talented pilot. During this time, she was involved in several post-war operations on Sedra in an effort to eliminate criminal activity, particularly smuggling and narcotics. She also participated in a number of orbital defense campaigns over the course of two years in order to secure Sedran space from pirate threats. Despite only being nineteen years old, she currently serves as a Private First Class, reporting directly to Colonel Aiken.- Holly Tanaka - Spartan Holly Tanaka is a human soldier of the United Nations Space Command who served in the years following the Human-Covenant War. She was one of the three survivors of the 2550 glassing of her homeworld Minab known to have endured the three year struggle on its barren surface. Shortly after their rescue Tanaka would enlist in the UNSC Army, becoming a non-commissioned officer in the engineers, and later volunteered for augmentation and training as a SPARTAN-IV supersoldier. I want her to be Macer. We know a little more about her. We know how she looks like (in real life), she has worked with Locke previously in Halo Nightfall and the general public is more familiar with her, since not everybody read the books where Tanaka was introduced to the Halo Universe.
Locke also recommended her to become a Spartan.
Besides… Macer looks just fine… if you know what I mean

Also the person that she had an affinity for during night fall was her CO who she discovered was a Spartan in a past life. Also she has a sense of duty and to strive as a soldier so i wouldnt doubt that she went up for Spartan IV training.

Why else would they have introduced Tanaka at this point?

It’s both, there looks to be two females on lockes squad, with locke and buck being obvious at this point, Besides, the white spartan that would have to be Romeo has literally nothing that matches his character whatsoever, unlike say Buck with the odst, green visor, and assault rifle.

i just use the dark horse app on my phone for all the newer comic much cheaper then print(oh how i miss print though) as for the marvel and comics and such I believe i remember visiting a Database of all the comics but i dont remember where
I would honestly be a little disappointed if it wasn’t Macer, but at the same time, she was way too girly to be a soldier, let alone a Spartan. She moved around the Halo fragment in Nightfall like a dainty princess, not a hardened warrior. Still, it would be cool to see how her relationship with Locke has evolved over time. She would be the only connection with Locke that we have from another character’s perspective that we are familiar with.

There’s always the possibility of Macer being Locke’s mission control.
