I kind of got this idea from reading another thread and the more I think of it, the more I think it would be friggin awesome to have in Halo.
What if, as part of a ordinance call in or whatever, that you had the opportunity to call in a MAC Cannon strike? You get the chance to call it in and you have to mark the spot. Seconds later, hell rains down from above.

Mass Accelerated Cannon Cannon?
I always find it amusing when people call it “The MAC Cannon” because you are essentially saying, Magnetic Accelerator Cannon Cannon. So, the proper term would be MAC Gun, or just MAC.
While in concept it would be entertaining, the problem stems from the fact that MAC Strike can equivilate into thousands upon thousands of atomic bombs. Which is a reason why fans of the lore, such as myself, find the Cutscene at the end of Tip of the Spear insulting to the established lore.
From a gameplay perspective, I think people would see it as an even closer step to Halo’s CoD-ification.
So let me get this straight, people would get what basically would be a nuke for getting at least five total kills during the entire match? Get back to CoD, kid.
