What if ranked playlists are cut off until a certain amount of hours are played or until the player hits a high enough level ( preferably 25-30).
Doesn’t really make a difference because smurfing is an issue in Social playlists as well. So you’re essentially just delaying the inevitable. Though if I were a legit new player, I’d be a little frustrated that I couldn’t just jump right into ranked games and would have to burn time playing games I’m not necessarily interested in. So level cutoffs or hours played is a solution, but not the best solution.
I think it would be too much of a turn off for actual new players. I know I wouldn’t like getting the game and then being able to only play Social or Warzone for a decent amount of time. 25-35 may not seem that high, but if you don’t play much that can take awhile to get.
