Duh. AR is a spray fire weapon. That’s like saying someone throwing a rock vs throwing sand. Obviously a ton of the sand will miss and lower their accuracy
Have you tried anything other than rankeds? Maybe you just tried to play a mode not that many people care about, and/or that aggressive SBMM was “doing it’s job”… Because other that that, half of the lobbys, sometimes more than half, are and where PC players, the community was always there and healthy as far as I’m concerned. Try play TDM, try play Fiesta, try BTB, try objectives, the’s a ton of PC players, always were.
You see, this is why I cannot take guys like you seriously, you guys play nothing but rankeds, so you trap yourself in this single, narrow scenario, so you have this kind of tunnel vision and don’t see the whole game, what’s actually going on in the grand scheme, where actually the majority of players are and the scenarios they’re facing. And then you complain… Or vice versa, everything is fine, and spam some fairytales about supposedly gigantic aim assist on controller while it’s BR’s bullet magnetism that’s doing all the work even if you’re not aiming at someone, which is not the gun people are playing with outside rankeds to begin with, hence you see people complaining about cross-play ever week.
haha, interesting times. The aim assist masters are crying because the game is now balanced and they still say that mnk has aimbot haha. It is because of such a toxic community that the game is killed. Thank you on behalf of other mnk players. 250k players has left the chat.
How do you verify they’re PC, alternatively kbm players?
If from what I understood having discord on the xbox and PC will show people as PC, despite playing on xbox and more likely controller.
It’s easy to tell by the way they move and aim, I mean, just turning around faster than even bots immediately uncovers you’re dealing with a PC/M+K player. Plus there’s Theater, whete first 30s of spectating will tell you everything. Or even before a match starts, the longer you’re stuck at “other players loading” you already know there’s a PC player(s) joining as the game loads slower on PC, especially for people with older, quad-core CPUs let alone those who have their gane installed on HDD. There’s a ton of factors that within first minute of the match you can tell if/who the PC players are, and that PC/Steam isn’t needed at all, especially when as you said, night be misleading.
Do you live in a cave ?
- I used to play a lot in mnk ranked.
- Ranked is so broken actually that of course I played every others playlist.
Now I get your problem. It’s a skill issue that’s all. Blame SBMM (and you) instead of a community.
Look at your posts. Every time you’ve got a problem during a game it’s automatically a PC player. Well, I don’t think you’re a 343 member right ? So why should I trust someone looking like he’s just frustrated by the game itself ?
I could also say angry stuff like « every time I crash it’s because of an old xbox guy in my server » or « I only lose games because server response is laggy due to xbox users» but I won’t because it’s not the truth. And even if it was (and it’s not) I’m nobody to prove it.
While I agree with most stuff that you’re saying, this one here is absolutely false.
I’ve played Infinite both on the XBone as well as my Laptop(!) and the console is loading significantly slower. In fact, that’s one of the major reasons why I switched to mainly playing on Windows (not that I’m playing the game that often anymore, I spend a lot more time on MCC). Maybe you’re talking about the SeXbox, I can’t say anything about how fast or slow those load, but there are so few of those out there due to supply issues that they hardly factor in.
For the record: I’m still playing with a controller despite being on Windows.
For the millionth time, NO! Disabling cross-play will only hurt player population even further and prevent people from playing with friends. This game needs input-based matchmaking options only. Controller with controller, M&KB with M&KB, or an option to play will all. Period.
Weelllll, if they get the hacking thing under control, then I’ll agree with you Val. Until then, I’m unfortunately on the disabling crossplay side on this one.
That would be a good start, but until 343 sorts out desync, which from my observation and experience occurs mostly on PC players, I’m all about disabling cross-play completely. Sorry but I simply cannot stand all those PC guys who withstand two shots from Spanker, 4-5 Cinder shots, two direct hits from Gravity Hammer, hree melees in a row don’t attach, sticked Plasma nade explodes doing absolutely nothing, not even breaking the shield, if it sticks that is because often it just goes straight through a guy, and those are just some examples from past week or so.
There’s a desync and there’s desync, all rhe most absurd actions you hear about or see clips on Reddit are always with PC players involved, I don’t know what it is, nor I care as I’m neither the developer nor the publisher of the game, all I know it creates plethora of issues and the sooner they’ll turn it off the sooner the game and everyone playing it will benefit.
had to put the game down for this exact reason, forced crossplay and desync killed this game for me, it’s kinda crazy to think that they really won’t add a toggle for us xbox players to simply opt out of being forced to play with pc players whether on controller or mkb I don’t want to play with pc players in general and simply not having that option I just can’t fathom smh
de sync is related to crossplay? why is it not in mcc? don’t think it has anything to do with it
I play on controller and there is no doubt in my mind that aim assist aside, MNK players have the advantage. I have turned up my sensitivity settings and input settings to max, and still someone on MNK manoeuvres circles around me, and that in my opinion is what makes this game unbalanced, that and all the obvious hacks/cheats going on.
Even if there is this supposed controller aiming advantage as some like to say, it offers no benefit because it’s extremely difficult to track a good MNK player when using a controller.
Furthermore, I have also noticed a big jump in players running circles around me, so either there are more PC players, or console players are abandoning this mess, and therefore I am being matched with more PC players.
Once again, this is false. PC players do not have some sort of magic health over console players. Desync affects all players, no matter the system. Your “observation and experience” is/has been proven wrong.
I’ve come across very few hackers personally. But the most common cheat I’ve seen is the no descope cheat. Which can also be applied to controller if you have a controller mod pack.
Y’know, at this point I’m getting real curious about just how many of these posts we’ll see once/if 343 enables a crossplay toggle and input display ala MCC. I have a feeling there’ll be plenty more but who knows.
Is that the one B retweeted from Shaady?
I didn’t know about that one, but now that I’m seeing it, I’ve had a few encounters that made me wonder if something like that was on the go.
Yeah you could probably do something like on console, but against, hardware is more expensive than just the program, so I’ll still take the no cross play. At least of I meet a cheater in console, I know that he’s a dedicated cheater and willing to spend his money on stupidity.
they wont ever enable this toggle.
There are two that I know of, The one we’ve seen Shaady use and one for modded controllers.
I’m not sure what you’re trying to say here.
Question, how do you actually know you were playing against MnK players?
I think it’s important for everyone posting hot takes on this forum (and Internet in general) is the following…
- when people lose they get mad, blame cheating or something else that they can’t possibly verify
- a majority of people playing Halo, even on PC, are using a controller (the PC population of this game is tiny)
- cheating on a console is just as easy as PC and impossible to detect (see Cronus Zen add-on)
- nobody is as good as they think they are in online games. Sometimes other players are just better. Don’t take it personal, just focus on what you can do & move on.
I looked up the OPs profile on Halo Tracker, he posted this MnK hot take after losing a Doubles match…
https://halotracker.com/halo-infinite/match/371547bd-157f-41b2-ac37-f6d0af8871da
I don’t see anything unusual about the team you played against. You and your teammate in particular both had a negative KDA. You win some, you lose some. Just shake it off and move on.
/EDIT
Yeah man, your teammate had a 24.41% accuracy that match. Don’t blame the other team for winning. They had a 33.57% and 47.94% accuracy respectively, hardly anything I’d call aimbot.
