Is it ever noted anywhere of all the AI’s we know are in the created and joined Cortana?
At this point, we don’t have a full list of all AIs who joined Cortana (though to be frank, there are probably thousands of human AIs in general). So far it appear that most human AIs joined Cortana’s Created, but there are still those who remain loyal to humanity. Roland and BB are two major characters at this point, but this could mean that others have also stayed loyal.
There is also the matter of differentiating dumb and smart AIs. Dumb AIs can live much longer than smart AIs, given their far simpler cognitive processes. So perhaps dumb AIs will still remain loyal to humanity, since the allurement of eternal life may not be as appetizing to them as it will be to smart AIs.
This doesn’t even consider an entirely separate faction of AIs: Forerunner ancillas… AIs like Exuberant Witness could show loyalty to humanity (she has already shown some level of loyalty to humanity throughout H5 and Bad Blood), and could be hugely helpful to humanity in Infinite. I think that could add a very interesting dynamic going forward.

Definitely would be interesting to see, I titled this and forgot to mention in the original post about AI Lysithea which resides in Bravo-6 compound where the UNSC Security Council meet. I would assume she’s a smart AI and by her roles played a very important one much like BBX.

You make a great point, particularly with regard to Ancillas supporting Humanity. Good distinction between “Smart” and “Dumb” AIs. I wonder though if that could also be two-edged? Perhaps the allure of functional immortality would be less of a pull for a “Dumb” AI, but couldn’t it be more of an allure as well? I think I’m understanding the AIs well enough, and I’d think it’d be largely a random split as each AI chooses. But I guess we’ll find out.
Indeed, we’ll have to find out. I had thought this turn in the universe wasn’t a good one but as the story ages and fleshes itself out, especially now that I have an alexa in my house to think more about AI I’m anticipating the next big chapter of the story.
