Captain Lyrenne Castilla is a Insurrectionist leader and captain of the UNSC Bellicose, who is also the second-wife of Vice-Admiral Preston Cole. She is renown for her skills in combat inside a vacuum, to which, she was the first to slip-space jump in atmosphere.
She could have known about the Spartan-II Program and other things because of Vice-Admiral Preston Cole, who seemly died but his status was later redacted, stating he may have used a similar maneuver to his wife, by jumping in-atmosphere to escape the Covenant. He would then settle on a unknown world, outside UNSC and Covenant controlled space.
The reason FERO could be fearing the “anomalies” because Cole and herself are outside any known UNSC or Covenant controlled sphere, she would be attempting to slander the Spartan-IIs because she is an Insurrectionist, who possibly had battles against them. This would be a great way to re-introduce Preston Cole as well…
