I wonder what the Eldar Chieftain Lydus and the surviving Jiralhanae in the Oth Sonin System think of the Banished and Atriox? Could they possibly form a grand union again, like Tartarus?
It’s tough to say. Lydus seems to prefer peace when possible, as opposed to Atriox who isn’t a fan of humanity, to say the least. But considering how unusually smart and cunning both Lydus and Atriox are, I don’t think it’s out of the question they could join together for the mutual benefit of their packs.

Atriox actually wants Peace though…

Here is a link.
I believe Atriox wants peace through show of power or intellectual mutual understanding and a common goal.

Unless I’m misinterpreting that quote, that sounds like he’s saying there will be peace because he’ll eliminate anyone that opposed him. And I believe it was Atriox that attacked Red Team first.

Yeah well he did set a trap… hmm interesting.

I think that is excatly what he means. It’s one way to achieve peace all right. The same way Cortana is using. Lydus was ready to use diplomacy to create peace and Atriox wants to do the same with brute force.
I think if Atriox is to succeed he’ll need the help of all Brutes, and there’s no negotiation. He’ll simply kill Lydus.

My conclusion of the events in the Extended Universe (pre Halo 6) will have rivaling factions fighting for supremacy of the Milky Way Galaxy…
- Master Chief Petty Officer/Spartan John-117 and the United Earth Government (Humans/Huragok) - Arbiter/Kaidon Thel 'Vadam and the Swords of Sangehlios (Sangheili/Unggoy + Mgalekgolo/Kig-Yar) - Chieftain of the Jiralhanae/Warlord Atriox and the Banished (Jiralhanae + Yanme’e/Sangheili/Kig-Yar) - Smart-AI CTN-0452-9 Cortana and the Created (Prometheans/Forerunners/Artificial Intelligence)I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing more San’Shyuum Prelates return and attempt to remedy’s Ord Casto (The Prophet of Truth) unmaking and join forces with the Jiralhanae and Sangheili, for the greater good. It was shown that as two rival enemies fight for a common goal, they grow together and can become allys… hence John and Thel…

I’m pretty sure that Halo 6 won’t include the Banished, because their first appearance is Halo Wars 2, which starts a couple months after Halo 5 on the Ark. Since they will be on the Ark at least up until the end of Halo Wars 2 (because if they would go to earth or smth midway through the campaign, we would already know a lot about what is going to happen in Halo 6) and the trip back will probably last at least 2 weeks, they might return like 6-12months after the end of Halo 5.
Halo 6 will probably start right after Halo 5 and I doubt it’ll take longer than 6-12 months/the time between Halo 5 and Halo Wars 2 + the time of the Halo Wars 2 campaign + the time of the trip back.
Halo 6 will most likely be about finishing of Cortana while Halo 7 could focus on Banished/Flood.
EDIT: and on topic, Atriox seems to be more of a diplomat, who tries to get as many people under his command as possible. He made deals with two different elite factions, so I guess him offering Lydus to serve under him (and if he denies, killing him and letting the rest join) is the most likely outcome.

I believe the standpoint for Lydus and his Alpha Pack joining the Banished and Atriox, is food and supplies for service, like this was the reason the in-fighting and raids were occurring on various Jiralhanae colonies and Sangheili worlds.
