does anyone think that 343i should bring back the sword lunge… I find that if you go up against someone with a dmr or battle rifle it’s pretty much game over and speeding up the player is no good as we can sprint anyway what do youths community think???
The PB still has a lunge??? I feel like the weapon’s appearance was designed very poorly and the lunge animation is almost non existent. The lunge is there, you just have to flank people a little more which is where the speed boost comes in. But yes, change the appearance for sure!
There is a weird phantom zone where the reticle is red but the Prophet’s Bane won’t lunge. I think that they should either increase the lunge range or get rid of that phantom range.

It still has lunge but it’s not much more than melee distance. It needs literally almost twice the distance to be a viable power weapon. It’s useless when people can just thruster backwards and shoot at you still or be 3 feet away and unable to lunge.

Yes the lunge is a shorter distance but since you run faster on top of having the ability to thrust forward faster + farther, it kind of balances everything out. I simply use it to run around the map faster 
Have you zoomed in, yes that sounds stupid, with it? The “smart scope” for the PB gives it extended lunge range, but you can’t sprint while in this mode. Also you definitely have to flank people with it. If you play some what stealthy with it and use all your abilities right, sprint, speed boost, thrusters, and extended lunge range, it can be pretty deadly. Something you might want to try is staying at the bottom ring and in the red/blue stealthy areas with it. I DEFINITELY agree that it needs a design change. It covers to much of the screen, is to bright for that dark map, and looks like it had one too many Big Macs.
Funny thing while sprinting you can lunge WHILE SPRINTING, when the sprint reticle turns red you cAn lunge, it lets you lunge around twice as far this way
