Playing against this person, and for some reason they kept on glitching to other places a few feet from where they were, just wondering if this person was lag switching or just lucky and lagging at the right times

I’m pretty sure you have to be the host of a game to use a lag switch. It’s an antiquated cheating system not many people remember. I had to Google search it to find out what it was.

What’s wrong with trying something that is in the game, if 343 has that on the map it’s part of the game. Lag shouldn’t be in the game
Just because games are on dedicated servers doesn’t mean latency doesn’t happen. Just looked like he connected like crap to the server. Highly, highly doubt he’s lag-switching since the games are not hosted on anyone’s connection anymore.

Your logic is flawed. Both this exploit and lagging are in the game. One could just as easily say that 343 let’s lag be in the game, so I can slow my connection down to get more kills because it hasn’t been fixed. (I’m not saying this. I prefer actually playing a game not hiding in a box to pad my score.) You can’t subjectively say that one use of poor game mechanics is better or worse he than any other. It’s an all or nothing matter. You either play the game how it should be played or you cheat and deal with other cheaters.
Like Snickerdoodle said, lag switching isn’t possible. He just has a connection problem which probably set his fault.
