I haven’t seen anything with regards to an ending time.
I mean, even if there was a stated time, it would be poorly coordinated with the challenge.
I agree thats its poorly conveyed but im just trying to understand the actual complaint better.
Because it sounded like the issue wasnt the same as it was being portrayed.
I really think 343 needs to overall the challenge system to not include game mode specific challenges especially when it comes to events. Otherwise, them having to gift the ultimate is gonna be a recurrent theme for awhile.

So, LSS the game mode (not the interfence event) is what we’re talking about.
So for the weekly challenge, it was a combination challenges and some LSS challenges. I got through all of them, with the last one finishing Monday night.
That left the ultimate challenge remaining. Kill 30 in LSS.
So I got off of work on Tuesday with still an hour and change left on the timer of the weekly challenge (and the interference as well). When I finished my first LSS game, I had gotten 5 kills and there was still about little less than an hour left on the timers, but when I went to start my next game, LSS was gone.
So I wasn’t able to finish the ultimate because the required game mode was missing for the last hour of the challenge. (AND interference event, but I already had that done, so it was no consequence to me)

Hope the fix worked for you not sure what it wss just know there was a tweet about some challanges not bejng doable
