I doubt they’ll give you the coating.
You did also have a whole week to get it. I don’t understand why people always leave it to Tuesday evening and are like “whoa, 343 did something and I can’t complete my weeklies”.
Because Im given 168 hours a week to do my challenges. Not 167.
And halo doesn’t dictate my life. My life dictates halo.
And we’re not talking about having a few challenges done. I was literally working on the ultimate with a whole hour left to get 25 kills, totally reasonable amount of time to get in.
Or shouldi be up till 2 am Tuesday morning on a workweek trying to get my challenges done because it’s faux pas to use up to the last the hour supposedly available.

My weekly ultimate was get 30 kills in LSS, not 50.
I suggest this week you just complete them faster.

Mine was 30 too, I just got 5 in a match and then boom, no more LSS with an hour still remaining.
I have a life, if I can’t get it done in the time I’m given, so be it, but don’t shortchange me on time.
And my suffering will be worth nothing, they didn’t even give me the free stuff during tac ops…
Don’t wait till the last second next time maybe? They usually swap things out around 1PM Eastern US time.
Maybe send in a support ticket?

I’m having exactly the same issue. Just came home with 12 kills left to get, very easy in 40 minutes, but LSS has gone. I expect to be compensated for this. What a joke

That’s automated. Should be obvious by now.
But you usually can’t “just complete them faster”. For example, the last week of S1 I was playing quite a bit over the weekend, waiting for oddball or something to come up. If you have a challenge for a specific game type, you can play quick play for 4 or 5 hours and not have the mode come up.

…You know, that’s actually a good point! I can’t wait to swap challenges that should’ve never been challenges in the first place to get some random colours for a weapon.

The worst AR coating in the game.
You didn’t miss anything.
It does not matter if the coating is nice or not. Fact is, that we all have a real life with family, work, university, school and so on. With that in mind we also have 168h to do the weekly’s it does not matter if we do them all in the first 20h or in the last. They give us the time. but when they remove a playlist that is necessary for the challenges it should stick until the reset. and that’s the point they messed it up…
normally I defend 343 but this is just not acceptable. They made Halo a Game as a Service thing so provide the service in the most customer friendly way by sticking to the timers and not removing key things for challenges early…
If they can’t just give us a real progression system and a non-premium currency which lets us buy ultimate rewards that we might have missed because of holidays and stuff. In fact, give us that anyway…

No that would be more like a teacher ending the test a minute early. Still early, but if you need that minute you’re probably in trouble anyways. Still bad on 343, but this is faaar from the worst mistake they’ve made.

Wasnt there a statement by 343i the i formed people of the end time but this issue here is that people assumed it was the same as the weekly reset.
