Lowlevelfatalerror line 340 when I enter settings

Halo masterchief collection on PC crashes whenever I try to go into settings. It´s a new bug as i´ve played through reach, 1 and 2 already
The full error reads:
lowlevelfatalerror file unknown line 340
This application cannot be run over a remote desktop configuration

I have been having the same issue. I just bought the game yesterday and this is frustrating.

Try this:

Close the game
Change your monitor to a lower resolution
Start the game
Go to settings
Go back and change your monitor resolution back to what it was
