Yes, it means lowering your weapon can happen, but offline or online? RvB did this for Reach, but it had to be done on offline mode. Time will tell.

The question isn’t rather or not we’ve finally get lowered weapons, because we’ve always had it, and 343i wouldn’t keep the Machinima community from making their machinimas. But the real question is: "Are we able to lower our weapons in Online game play, or just LAN?

If they really don’t want the whole lowering weapon thing in MM couldn’t they just make a new network mode in which you cant go into MM, but still do everything else on xbox live? I’m not sure if this is possible it just sounds like it could work.
