I feel it’s WAY to much of a REQ rank to use the DMR. I have a variant with a laser sight, and I can’t use it until rank 8. I feel like most people don’t even get that far in the match to even get that level. Bungo please fix.
There are BR variants which are even better than the stock DMR and unlock at req level 5. Screw that req level 8 garbage.
You have pistol and br at lower levels. They should work on game bugs first. You are being a bit of a crybaby atm. When I call you a crybaby it’s in the nicest way possible.
Is the regular DMR REQ 8? I haven’t gotten one yet. I do approve of a high unlock level though to prevent DMR spam all game.

BR’s are highly competitive with DMR’s to begin with. Dont speak like DMR’s at low Req would be chaos. If anything, the battlefield would be a bit more balanced. Bullets are going to fly across the map from several kinds of rifles regardless.

Yes, DMRs are discriminated against because now they’re apparently too good; so now 343i seems to want to play ‘keep-away’ with them…

Seriously, I unlocked a DMR with Longbarrel Attachment, but I don’t know why 343i even allowed me to have it.
Can’t ever use the thing, never even get to REQ Level 8 most of the time and when I do, it’s always in the last minute or two of the match.
May as well not even have it, rather would of preferred another BR variant than a DMR I can’t use… =\
I think it should be lowered, to maybe a 5 or 6, yeah.
It’s not TOO much more powerful than the BR, at least not powerful enough for it to be pushed up to level 8.
I get the vibe that they’re probably not going to do anything about it… and if so, then I’ll probably just move on

Its at req level 6 with just stock dmr. I have it.
I used to be a ninja in Halo 4 with the DMR, but now it is much harder to get it in game. I think it should be a REQ level 3 item, maybe REQ 4.
At the same time, though, I think it should be a higher weapon because it is a pretty powerful weapon.
And then I see all the BRs on the field, and I feel like there is very little variation in what everyone is using and want the game to change this.

And BR’s have a limited range compared to DMR’s and certainly better at killing at range. The BR is a great ranged suppression weapon, but certainly not a ranged kill weapon.
I wanted to get the Rare REQ Lv6 base/stock DMR before Fallout 4 came out…
I played over 180 matches of Warzone, got to SR48… still never got it…
343i, I thoroughly disapprove of your RNG reward system; I have to have opened like 60+ Silver Packs… I should have gotten it by now, the closest I could get was the DMR with the Longbarrel attachment, but I can only ever use it at REQ Level 8, so I never really get the chance to use it hardly ever, anyways… may as well not even have it.
What good is a gun you can only use at the last minute and a half of a match???
Ya should have taken some notes from Halo Reach and awarded people more substantially through Promotions or something. Emblems and REQ supply packs just don’t cut it, no motivation for leveling up, nothing to look forward to.
The basic/standard DMR should be available to everyone after SR20 or something… that sounds fair
I am very much considering taking this game back, Halo 5 just makes me upset and frustrated… I never get anything I want for playing the game for the time I’ve invested
I’m sure Fallout 4 and Battlefront will do a better job of rewarding my efforts.
Alright, so I don’t think you peeps who talked mad smack understand. The DMR without any attachments is REQ level 6 in a match. Any other will be 8 or 9. That isn’t how this should work. I get that a bayonet or long barrel would make it 8 or 9, HOWEVER how come a laser sight on a already very accurate weapon get’s boosted over to 8? 343 Please fix this.
