Lower Aim Assist

I believe it is too high.

I used to think ARs were too powerful but I think an adjustment to aim assist would fix their rampancy at all ranges.

Really? I think that it’s basically nonexistent.

It is quite heavy in this game. I’m not sure how you aren’t noticing it.

With no aim assist, people will hit their bullets anywhere form 7%-12% of the time on average (this is just a figure from an old game I used to play with no aim assist).

Now go look at people’-Yoink!- % in Halo 5.

Bullet magnetism is high.
Not aim assist.

They are two different things.

Granted I could be wrong but if feels like the game isn’t aiming for me so much as it’s connecting the shots for me instead.
Partly why it’s so easy to snipe. (Other part being big hitboxes)

I don’t notice any type of aim assist with precision weapons. Automatics, on the other hand, I feel are too easy to kill with.

I completely agree with this. The hitboxes seem large and bullet magnetism is very high. I’ve never been sniped so much in the head compared to other halo games.

Halo 5’s Code has completely deleted Aim Assist, they have stated it numerous times, oh and before you blame them for it, Developers can NOT lie about their game or they will be fired upon the discovery of said lie. Aim Assist does NOT exist in Halo Anymore, Bullet Tracking/Magnesium is a thing and has ALMOST ALWAYS been a thing in all Halo Games. Reach was the first for this, but Aim Assist is DEFINITELY NOT in Halo 5 Guardians.

Completely agree with you OP. Just wrote my own post about the same issue. Really ruins the game for a competitive player such as myself. I hope they decrease it drastically

They just traded one evil for another…

You sure about that?

Lol. The ignorance sometimes…

Oh, like that giant coliseum wall in Halo 4’s forge? How ordnance would be predictable in Halo 4? How Halo 5 wouldn’t have flinch? How smart scope wouldn’t improve accuracy? You’re right, 343 has NEVER lied about anything…

Regardless of which mechanic they employ, I believe they need to nerf it.

Also, aim assist is apparent in this game if you try out the pistol. Look at games like CoD, you can’t notice it either. That is just great coding.
