LOW XP/LEVEL DESPITE HAVING GREAT STATS

Hello,

Since I didn’t find an answer to my question after an hour of searching, I’ve decided to ask for clarifications here :

I’ve started playing Halo 4 Wargames with 3 other friends in split screen. My friends don’t have an Xbox so I’ve easily bested them by having at least 10 times more kills and wins.

My big question is - Why are they now SR13, and I’m only SR11 ? They got better, but I didn’t stop winning…

Is the game giving me less credit for easily killing the same opponents over and over ? Or if not, why is it giving them more credit ?

  • Most game type we played : King of the hill
  • Team configurations : 3 vs 1 or 2 vs 2
  • Only my profile is on Xbox Live, but without xbox gold. Their profiles are local

honestly dont know, but commendations or specific challenges could have varied results

Also, if they play the objective and you just killwhore, they could easily end up with more points.

Probably this. They may have completed certain commendations, e.g. using different weapons and progressing through the novice stages and you may have just stuck to a DMR?

Or if they are using Dew/Doritos Double XP codes they would level up faster.

Edit - Scratch that, I just noticed you said split screen.

because I -Yoink- on you on live, and your trueskill is forever locked because I’m the baddest kid of all. soz

XBL profiles vs. local profiles may earn xp at different rates. Unsure really. But the commendation idea is probable, since you earn nearly the same xp for wins or losses.

are you earning any points at all in offline games? since you’re on an online profile, i suspect you aren’t. if you could earn points in an offline splitscreen game you could just farm your way to SR9000
