Halo Infinite unfortunately has become unplayable for me at this point. I get kicked out of every other game and the games I don’t are usually plagued by lag, desync and stuttering WITH low ping. Infinite is the only game I have this problem with. It started off with unstable packet loss warnings, but those have gone away, but the network issues have only worsened terribly the past 1-2 weeks. Before that, no issues other than the common desync/blank melee stuff. My GPU is good, my drivers are updated, my fps is high, I have plenty of RAM and VRAM. I’ve restarted my PC, my router, uninstalled and reinstalled the game… no luck. I am using a wireless connection, but my router is pretty solid, it shows good latency and like I said, Infinite is the only game I’m having these issues with. Someone please help or I’m going to have to give up on a game I really enjoyed playing.
Check your ping here
https://www.azurespeed.com/
Then assuming you already have your fps and ping visible in game at the top right of the screen, check your match ping
If your ping is reasonable with nearby Azure servers, the game should run fine, unless the game is connecting to far away servers, since nobody wants to play Infinite anymore
Thanks, but I tried that and the azurespeed ping is about the same as my in-game which is usually about 30 ms. I live close to NYC, and the server was from Virginia. When I play MCC there’s 2 East coast servers and my latency is perfectly fine. But on Infinite, I can’t even connect to the game servers and join a game right now. I just tried to reinstall my network driver, but everything is up to date. This is so incredibly frustrating. And it’s ONLY with Infinite. I’m not sure what else to do because what I’m dealing with seems doesn’t seem to be a popular issue. The amount of issues with this game is ridiculous.
Put your graphics settings to low and resolution to the lowest. This game is so poorly optimized.
