Hi as you can from the topic title i’m curious to how they got it because I’ve seen players who have never touched halo 5 gaurdians and only halo 5 fore on pc that have it.
343 gave everyone that logged into Halo 5 or Waypoint between 11/15/2016 and 11/22/2016 a pack that contained the Mark IV armor and helmet for the franchise’s 15th anniversary, which is most likely why they have it.

Yeah. I have the classic mk iv, the arcadia one…and one other I can’t remember off the top of my head.

There are only 2 variants, default and Arcadia. You may be thinking of Mark V Alpha, Mark V Alpha variant, Mark VI GEN 1, Mark VI GEN 1 Scarred, Mark VI default and it’s other 3 variants… Too many Marks I say.

If they do make Mark V Delta body… It better be the concept from Halo 3. The arms, legs, and waist were Mark VI thinned down, chest looked like Default from Reach while the shoulders retained the original look.
I don’t wear it because every one else has it and I’ll just be the same as a million other people. I want my armor to be unique…

Well you didn’t really have to do anything to get it. Pretty much everyone has a few of those mark variants.

Huh. Did you already have the armor before the pack? That’s the only reason why you wouldn’t get it that I can think of.

I feel the same way, but at the same time, there are very few armours in the game that really appeal to me. I miss full armour customization from Reach/Halo 4. You could really make your Spartan unique all while using the parts you want to use. But now? You’re much more likely to run into somebody who looks like you.

But yeah as mentioned it was given out to everyone around the 15th anniversary of Halo. Similar to how Noble Valor was given to everyone when MoR came out or how you get Mk V Alpha for buying the Arena REQ Bundle for free.

Yep. Been in the standard REQ pool since it was added back in… uh… let me check… back in the Cartographer’s Gift update in December 2015.
