Low gravity rooms were an unmitigated disaster. Condemned/Uplink plays horribly because of that one stupid room. Anchor 9 was awful to begin with, but the low gravity make a really bad map, really, really bad…and the soft kill barrier that had to be installed on Zealot speaks for itself. Please abandon this terrible idea and patch the three infected maps. Maybe at least Condemned could be saved.
Just to say, the zero gravity area on Zealot wasn’t blocked off because it was ‘terrible’, it was blocked off because people would get one kill and hide up there for the whole game.
Which they got away with because chasing them up there resulted more often than not in death…making the map suck. Easy experiment…does it play better now that no one goes up there? I would yes by a long shot.

Hardly, I liked being able to go up there and sneak attack people, now with the kill barrier I need to rush up and do it fast or else I get killed.

Agreed. But if it was normal gravity it would be better than both of those options…

Artificial gravity which is somehow blocked by a magic shield on a space ship hmmm…
Agreed. I honestly can’t stand the low gravity areas. I like Anchor 9 and I am glad the low gravity area there doesn’t attract as much traffic as the one in Condemned. I swear, that map feels like it was was designed completely around that one room; I hate playing an entire match with everyone returning to that one area.
To Little Moa: the low gravity area in Zealot is terrible; the ability for teams to hide entire matches there attests to that. If it were not terrible, such actions would not be possible (that is if it were designed better to deter camping.)

If the zero gravity was removed, it would still be possible for people to camp there, sure, the area was a bad idea but that’s nothing to do with the Zero Gravity in that area.

Considering the map is a giant circle with shortcuts and a power weapon through the middle, I’d say yes, condemned is designed around that area.
But at least you can shoot people inside.

It is a horrible design for a playable area, that much is for sure. However, the low gravity compounds the problem. When you shoot up to that area, you float through the space slowly, making you an easier target. Most likely, you would be dead before landing.
Lets say its normal gravity, like you suggested: you shoot up the lift and quickly land on the ground. You are now able to strafe and avoid fire. AA use is now allowable; AA’s such as armor lock and evade (I hate them both, by the way) can be used to their full extent to deter the campers.

You just tried to argue your point by using realism…
