I am playing on an ~2017 Dell XPS 15 laptop with a GTX 1050, i7-7700HQ, 16GB memory. 1080P external monitor. Frame rates vary widely, dropping to 20 FPS at times which is unplayable for multiplayer. Sometimes I see 80 FPS or more. Feels very choppy which makes aiming very difficult. My laptop fans are very loud. I have closed all other applications and checked task manager.
Any pointers?
