I admit its not ODST firefight. Maybe with a life limit, no time limit, and the old school set, rounds,and waves it could be that great.
But for what it is right now, wow its fun and challenging. I like the fact that its hard because it adds to the challenge. Elites are dangerous, higher tier enemies drops to mix it up a little, and it makes each encounter so different. Plus you have freaking REQs. Its not impossible. Good job 343i.
But we need a custom lobby for this with custom settings. Thats imperative to the survival of this firefight.
Ditto bro. I love how you can explore the map, and you are not confined to a small area. But don’t get me wrong. I loved holding out with only my wits, limited lives/ammo, and skulls for more difficulty. The one thing I love, is you can explore and dominate maps with the reqs you have, and score against your allies.

I’m really enjoying Warzone Firefight as well, it’s got a lot of variety and challenge, which keeps me going. However, I don’t think I would consider it to be a replacement for ODST/Reach Firefight. It’s more of a PvE version of Warzone than anything. Doesn’t stop it from being great though!
