So I’ve been playing this since it released at 1 pm est. Absolutely loving it. Ive got minor complaints about the weapons (pistols seem off, some things seem a little overpowered such as the speed and power of the Needler), but the overall game play is pretty awesome. Ive played all the Halo’s at their releases and this is probably tied for my favorite.
Like I said, minor complaints from me. I cannot stand the AI voices. That would probably be my biggest complaint so far… They all seem goofy and bubbly. Cmon man, -Yoink!-. Give me one like Cortana, and then let me design my own AI, give it a body, change the face up, male/female, what it wears, etc. Not a tear drop, or circle, or triangle. I’m fingers crossed that those shapes are placeholders for the ACTUAL AI’s, similar to what I described.
Ran into a few glitches in the training mode against the bots. Some would have a walking animation and be stuck on a ramp.
Also a melee glitch where they melee several times for an insta kill.
Overall, I think this may be one of the best Halo’s yet. But hey, that’s my opinion, and everyone has one.
