At first the controls bugged me, but it took like a total of 5 minutes to figure it out. Well most of them anyway. LOL!
But Holy -Yoink- is the new Forge awesome or what?! I mean the map customization is off the charts & I’m just obsessed with building on Alpine now. Not only can I build things, but I have awesome props & you can change weather, cause earthquakes, & even play with fire! 
ya I’ve spent my last few Forge sessions just playing around, trying to get comfortable. If I make a map it will probably have those standard Shade turrets, I love those. Oh and a campfire spot.
Yeah other than a few slight gripes its amazing.
I made a (really crappy) nightclub using the amazing options for the lights, theres heaps of colours, effects, lens flares, pulses, beams etc. Was not expecting that at all.

So glad I’m not the only one on this forum who doesn’t -Yoink!- about having to learn new controls. It takes some getting used to, but in about an hour I was fine.

Well, it took me a whole lot more than an hour, and I’m still far from adept, but I just wrapped up my first Halo 5 forge session where I didn’t quit in a rage. I consider that progress.
I got used to it in a half hour, now I’m halfway through making a vertical mini-invasion gametype from reach on a tall tower
I like this part of the community, the part that doesn’t whine about HALO

It seems every forum nowadays is just a bunch of whiny kids. But yeah the new forge is awesome.

Yeah its really good if you spend your time learning the controls instead of complaining on the forums.
Yeah it looks pretty epic!!! I’ve used the buildings as my crutch, but no more, I’ll have to build a map using individual parts. So much CHALLENGE!!!
