I literally can’t STAND the sound the Warthog makes… It’s like a really bad lawnmower that’s close to dying… Doesn’t really sound like a car either… more like a random noise…

Anyone else that agrees with me? I’m really hoping that the sound gets changed :stuck_out_tongue:

Other than that, Halo 4 is really good. Really enjoying it… but for some reason it doesn’t really feel like Halo any more… Buuuuut that’s another story. Good job 343. :slight_smile: ( but NOT on the warthog sound! :< )

Thought that myself, sounds like MC is trying to drive it around in 1st gear and revving the crap out it, the sounds actually quite annoying.

Really? I thought it sounded more like a hair dryer about to die. Still not really a big issue, game still seems pretty beast so far.

I have a dying hair dryer, just muted the audio of the game, hopped in a wathog and it really does sound like it, but less hissy of course.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the noise the Warthog makes :slight_smile: I think it makes the vehicle for once sound powerful :slight_smile:

I was also disappoint with the sound. It sounds like an RC car or something. OP, you don’t think it feels like Halo? I waited and reserved judgement until I played, and I have to say, it’s a Halo game.

But that’s just my opinion

If you have 5.1/7.1 surround sound speakers with a subwoofer you wouldn’t be saying this lol.

Crank up the base and hit the matrix button and it sounds incredible, scared my dog.

I love it. It sounds like a Muscle Car or a 4x4 Rock climber. But I liked the old sounds to . The turrets definitely sound beefier though.

I like it and I don’t, I think the Warthog should have kept its good old sound.
