Reminds me of Gears of War, one life multiple rounds, no shields. If only the singleplayer incapacited was an option in custom games. Anyways, just wanted to share.
And I think I will make a custom gametype more like GoW, with how customizing works.

I think its terrible.
I hated Breakout at the launch of Halo 5 but now I like it a lot. It does need some new maps though…
Breakout makes me cry. It is, without a doubt, the single most frustrating game type in a game that already makes me want to medicate. I hate it. But more power to you if you don’t.
With a team I love playing. Solo I do not

I love it. You can actually see it educating players on how to play multiplayer and cut out the run and gun approaches. Love everything about it from map design to format. More please.
I love Breakout, it’s easily the most balanced and competitive Halo 5 mode.

If you’re a casual player who doesn’t enjoy ultra competitive modes then Breakout will be hard work to play.
I tolerate it. But being with a incompetent team screws the whole experience up…

Yes well I am only a gold in Breakout so need to obviously work on it a bit but some of my team only played it for the first time the other night.

As much as I love it, I’ve given up on the csr with it. Far too many quitters impact on it for it to have value.
Breakout to me, is by far the best game type in H5. I definitely love the GoW feel it has with the single life per round and how you really need to really play as a team. Sadly I have been playing a lot of breakout solo lately, but you can still put up a good fight if you’re careful. You really just need to think about every move you make and try to communicate even if the other players arent using a mic. IDK why a lot of the community hates on it, it’s awesome.

I don’t play it too much but I love Breakout as well. I’ve played a lot of casual Counter Strike over the years. So, it’s nice to have a round based single life mode in Halo finally.
I just played enough rounds to get ranked over the weekend, and I started to really enjoy it! When you are with a team that knows the game, it can be really fun. That doesn’t always happen when playing solo, of course, but it can be pretty enjoyable regardless.
