Hey Waypoint! I absolutely love this game. Went to the midnight release, bought the LE, played Multiplayer for 18 hours straight (yeah…I know) and I beat the campaign.
For me the multiplayer is fine. Yes, there are some things that need to be fixed, but this game is a hell of a lot better than Reach was. I haven’t had the “Halo nostalgia” since Halo 3 and it came back for this game. I played it for a week straight…
Then Black Ops 2 came out. I had some extra money so I bought it. I love Black Ops 2 because of the ranking system and the competitive playlists that they offer. They also have core playlists for people just looking to have fun.
This is not a rant thread and I don’t like COD more than Halo, but I just got so bored so quick. I felt like in Halo 3 I had something to work towards because of the ranking system, or finding the skulls (Terminals aren’t the same for me) and the Campaign was fantastic, but way too short. Spartan Ops…eh I just can’t play it without one of my buddys.
Idk guys, I just got bored of this game so easily. I never thought BLOPS 2 would win me over, but it has so far.
Can’t wait for the December map pack though. That will definitely bring me back. I will gladly play Halo 4 if someone were to ask me to play it with me, but I feel like now I just have no “urge” to play it. I know I contradicted myself a bit, but still.
Call of duty has never had a ranking system. The more you play the more you level up and your thrown in random rooms with people of random skill. Just saying

Wrong. Blops 2 has a Halo 3 style win/loss ranking system.

And a good one too. It remind me of 1-50. It also has lag issues and spawning issues which can be easily patched.
I think personally I played a little too much at once and burnt myself out. After playing blackops for a day or 2 I came right back. Much more fun gameplay, just needs a little more to work towards maybe?

Someone lied…I’m only a level 18 I NEVER play multiplayer, yet i’ll get put into games with ppl on their 2nd prestige. Oh and I’ll do way better then them

Dude. It’s called the “Champions League” its a 1-50 type Win/Loss ranking system. It’s not a core or hardcore playlist. It has its own category. You obviously haven’t been playing long if you don’t even know about it…

Good to hear, that is a big bonus for that game. Honestly never thought I’d see the day CoD had a competitive playlist and Halo didn’t. Times are changing that’s for sure

Amen brother. What Black Ops 2 has is outstanding. They have an entire Core section and Hardcore section which is both casual and competitive.
Then they have the League section which is all skill based. It’s fantastic. I’m absolutely astounded that CoD has this and Halo 4 doesn’t. It just doesn’t make sense.
Make in W/L and not this “Highest Skill” thing that people complain about.
