Anyone else feel 343i is a bit overzealous with the kill boundaries? This is prevalent on all Halo 4 maps but most notable on Skyline. While I’m not saying we should be able to go where the Hornet flies around but why can’t we go a bit off the side? It would make an awesome mid air forge space! Remember Jenga or Monster Trucks in Halo 3? They were always built off the side of the cliff on Standoff. Something like that is impossible now with these ridiculous boundaries! There would be a kill barrier!
Why can’t we just have a bit more freedom? I guess I can understand now in Halo 4 since the game is already pushing the Xbox 360 to its limits so memory is an issue but when Halo 5 rolls around on the next Xbox there really wouldn’t be such an excuse.
I was just trying to float around skyline earlier to get a look at the map and trying to get an overhead view I kept getting the return to battlefield thing. So I popped in BF3… Geez 343, no wonder why this game is losing population…

LMFAO Best post I’ve ever seen, because thats what I did as well
I hate how restricting the soft kill boundaries are in this game, especially the ones in the Forge maps. Seriously, it’s so restricting in Forge, not to mention annoying.
I’m not saying I want to go outside the map, but if you have the area rendered, you might as well let us play on it.
Ravine would be so much more awesome as a Forge space if they extended the boundaries out over the ocean more, so much open space with everything already rendered, yet you’re stuck in the little bubble… You could even build maps attached to the top of that spire, which would be amazing.

So because neither of you could LOOK at a map from certain angles, you went and played another game? Last I checked, the maps were for playing games on, so maybe, I dunno, you should have went online and played on them?

You didn’t get the joke. The game told me to “Return to BATTLEFIELD”.
I don’t even own BF3 anymore btw. I got frustrated by jetpacking tryhards earlier today though so I took a rage nap. I came back and it’s still equally as frustrating. Might INV some people online so I don’t have to constantly play with random players.
