Halo 4 is F#$king awesome! It feels like halo 3 all over again with the BR in my hands. But the DMR is killing it! for me anyways. I find myself having to camp my away around the map to stay away from the DMRs that are everywhere. I miss the halo days where you just rush around the map with your BR and battle it out. Now it’s camp the base and shoot from a distance. I feel like the game would be solid with just the BR no DMR (BR=HALO, DMR=REACH). And reach sucks. How bout a BR only playlist? I can use the DMR just fine but I would rather use the BR because I enjoy it but BR vs DMR chances are slim

Guess I will just wait for Team Snipers! My playlist anyways…

This is just my opinion not hating cause I love Halo 4! 343 did a great job.

We do need some more maps in the rotation tho…

I like the BR up close. Feels a little more comfortable but thats just personal preference.

I’m actually not having any trouble. I can own the DMR with the BR. I see alot of people using the BR more then any gun.

i prefer the covenant carbine due to its really fast rate of fire, even if it does have a weak killing power if its not a head shot and even then you blast someone in the face with the entire clip before you either get killed or get the headshot.

but i miss the multi team playlist from reach was chaotically fun especially with 3v3v3v3 king of the kill.

even if the kill whores ruined the fun alot of the time.

i believe the DMR needs a slight range nerf. the balance issues in the game arent too bad, but the DMR is definitely better.

I have not had any trouble, infact more people used the BR. I like them both but if I had to choose I go with the BR. It’s surpisingly accurate at long range. I think it had 2 firing mode like the LR. DMR feel more comfortable when shooting probably because the BR recoil but at short and mid range I prefer the BR. I rather roll with the pistol at short range than the DMR.

I pretty much see 90% of people using the BR anyway, it’s superior in almost every way except for the fact that the DMR has range on it. If you take range away from the DMR, there will be no reason to use it whatsoever unless the damage is upped accordingly.

I personally love the DMR, but find most 4v4 maps (non-swat) to prefer BR usage, due to shorter sightlines and more frantic firefights.

I’m definitely liking the DMR better so far. When I’ve used the BR it feels like I’m landing every shot, but somehow lose most of the time. But when I use the DMR, it’s the same thing but I usually win. I can’t really tell if it’s just me, or if the DMR is superior. But from some of the other comments, it seems like others are prefering the BR.
