Has anyone else who bought the console experienced this? I recently experienced this when I started playing black ops 2 lol. I have installed the game but even after installing it, it still makes the buzzing noise for a few minutes until the disc stops spinning. Even in NBA 2K13, it makes the buzzing noise but not while I play halo 4. It’s like Microsoft is trying to tell me something lol

I can only think its down to the larger size of graphics in games recently.
I have a standard xbox 360 slim using a 250gb HDD as I havent started using my 320gb HDD yet. However I first noticed this loud buzzing noise when I loaded up forza horizon. I always download all the games I play regularly to by HDD. It will start up normally and then while loading halo 4 buzz really loadly for a min or 2 and then its silent. I dont think its your console. I meant to listen to my mates when it loaded halo 4 the other day but I forgot, I will check tonight and let you know. It does not do this as loadly when playing any other game just forza horizon and halo 4.
Yeah, my console is pretty damn loud.
I haven’t experienced any issues with my H4 console at all. In fact, it is much more quiet than my previous Xbox 360. Are the games you are playing installed, or are you just running them straight from the disc?
Yep, my sons is also having the buzzing noise issue, and it’s a replacement from Game as the one he got on launch day done the same thing,
Game tell me it’s an issue with the optical drive, and i’ve been offered a third console replacement!!!

Yeah I’ve installed all the games I play buzzing still makes a really loud buzzing noise, its not as loud when I play halo, only when I put in BLPS 2 or NBA 2k13. I’ve already beèn to the store numerous times. One because I goto cracked console on launch day and another because my BLOPS 2 disc was cracked on the inner ring (which I thought was the reason my Xbox was making the buzzi noise but even with a brand new BLOPS 2 dis, it still makes the noise) ugh I don’t know what to do.

No, I play both halo 4 and BLOP. Deal with it
Mine is standard with a 250 gb hardrive and it has been quiet since I installed game.
Mine buzzes as well. I’ve found if you don’t stand it up, but lay it on it’s side, it completely removes the noise.
