Feels like there are a lot of red coatings in this game.
Armor, vehicle, weapon. How about some more color varieties?

As a non red enthusiast its not that great to me
I love red, black, and white. However I’ll agree. There’s alot of red. I personally want a really cool Teal armor coating. Maybe soon it will turn into armor textures that let us change the colors.

Makes me happy the Funko Pop coating came out… I used Yellow and Blue back in the days of Quake so I was happy a coating combination I liked was actually implemented into the game. Goes really well with Red Visor + Red/Black Weapon coatings…

Even as a red enthusiast I’m not happy.
Crimson Serpent bundle: Perfect. Exactly what I wanted.
Scorpion Punch: Not even red, it is orange. Only on the arm.
Noble Executioner: Again, only on the arm.
Blazing Gunmetal: Everything in the center.
Everything else: Overpriced or also not as good.
I just want black and red. They did a standard pattern with other coatings. Why can’t I have that with black and red?

My orange visor fits better than my red. Its closer to orange.
Edit: I currently have the rampant visor attached with the scorpion punch and that matches better. Dragoon and Bryce don’t look as good.

Yeah, it’s another thing I don’t like about coatings. A lot of the designs seem to follow a similar design language. Like they were all made by the same 3 people. Those ppl have certain tastes and that bleeds into their art.
All the camo patterns are very “earthy” colors like Green, brown, and gray. Rings forbid they have some pink or purple camo for the ladies.
In general many of the coatings (especially free ones) tend to be dull in color. Nothing dynamic like yellow and blue, or purple and white.
Many coatings are only 1-2 colors. Seems pretty uncommon to have something with a lot of variety.
A color palette system like we have with emblems would help solve this.

It’s a mix. I consider it red, but it’s not straight red. It’s great-grandda was an orange for sure.
You will buy your Black/Red and your Black/Gold coatings and like it. 
But honestly I wish there were some more colours and over all less metalic, shiny stuff. So much stuff looks the same. 343 was talking about how the coating system will give the option to do oh so many things. A lot of times it looks like “here is a different flavor of…”.
I feel a lot of people realy like this weeks shop, which is nice. But a few more darker or slightly less saturated colours would be great. If the white AR this week wouldn’t look like a flash bang with gold trim, I had bought it instantly.

343 make the most bland skins of any game I’ve played, it’s just a a solid colour & if you’re lucky you’ll get a stripe with a different colour
They had some pretty cool skins in Halo 5, not really sure why they regressed their creativity for Infinite.
