Okay, I really enjoy playing Halo 4 online. But it’s never fun when there are people out there using some sort of cheats that can be noticed at plain sight. Lately I’m finding a lot of people that doesn’t play like the rest of us. What do I mean? I mean that when either me or my teammates shoot these people they never die and they don’t have the Overshield. Or when I’m taking cover behind a rock or a wall, their Sniper shot passes through my cover and kills me! Or even when I shoot them with my weapons I give them standard damage. But when the shoot me like two or three shots from the standard weaponry. My shields always drain fast. In my opinion this isn’t normal to me. And if anyone knows the cause of it, I would really appreciate the assistance.
This is probably occuring because U have bad network connection you should try to get a better connection because I have also had this problem and I got a new connection and it fixed itself.

Okay, I’ll try that. Thank you very much for the assistance, Spartan.
Weird game mechanics as such are usually caused by bad connection, but sometimes can be caused due to the host connection in two ways. One, it gives them the advantage, or two the host has a bad connection causing the whole game to play improperly.
The following things can occur when you have a bad connection:
-Constant lag
-Getting ‘hitmarkers’ on enemies with your weapon, yet it does no damage.
-Your shields go away and you die from literally nothing on your screen.
-Your movement seems to be slower than everybody else.
-Spartans are ice skating in one direction(When they move, but their legs don’t), which usually follows with a disconnect
-Flood have guns (In the flood gametype only)
-People can fire through walls and other ‘static’ objects (Very rare though)
The following things can occur when the host has the advantage (For the Host)
-Longer Shotgun Range (This has been proven in Flood)
-Slightly faster movement speed
-No slight delay in weapon fire
The following things can occur when the host has a bad connection
-Constant lag
-Getting ‘hitmarkers’ on enemies with your weapon, yet it does no damage.
-Your shields go away and you die from literally nothing on your screen.
-People’s movement seems to be slower than the host.
-Flood have guns (In the flood gametype only)
-Host can fire through walls and other ‘static’ items
-Host can fire backwards
-Constant Blackscreen (Blackscreen menu pops up a lot in the match)
Well I for one havent really seen anything strange except for 1 time yesterday when I was playing Grifball. There was a HUGE amount of lag going on and hardly anyone could do anything…except 1 person on our team who strangely had NO problem playing at all.
We won the match but it was weird because NO ONE was able to get any decent kills or scores except that 1 guy on our team who just happened to be split screening with his friend. The guy (i know what is name is but im not going to name and shame) ended up having scroed 4 times with ease and the only other person that had a score was his split screen buddy and you knew the guy had to be lag switching because he threw the ball in my direction intended for his buddy and the ball went THROUGH me and was caught by his friend who was then able to score with no problem as well.
That is literally the FIRST time I have ever experienced lag switching in Grifball on a Halo game. I know I was on the winning team, but I sent messages to the other team to report the guy because I KNEW he was lag switching. I reported him as well.
But I have to say that it is rare for me to see people cheating in Halo. There may be an occasional lag switcher or aim-bot user, but you mainly see that stuff in COD.
NO halo is hacked erveryone now it but nobody want it ist annoying
ITS NOT ALL LAGGING when in games nobody lags then it gaves no bad Connection or if just one or two guys from eight lags ist just an laggswitch hack
i know from friends they hack this game what for hack it gaves like camo hack armor hack explosiv ammo aimbot or just overpowert guns

Hey James, watch out for [REDACTED] and his clan. I’m pretty sure he got console banned or IP banned, as it says everywhere he’s on “Banville” (meaning he’s banned permanently), but there’s alot of other members online, so watch out.
I’m still puzzled as to why people get worked up about this issue. When a match goes wonky, you quit. If it was host’s lag issue, problem solved. If it was cheating, which is much less likely but still possible, then problem still solved. And if everyone quit on cheaters then there would be no incentive for them to cheat anymore.
At the first sign of trouble just move on to the next match. Life is too short.

I suppose that can work.

There is a problem with that. If you keep quitting out of matches that you think are trouble due to cheaters, then sooner or later you are going to get hit with a temp quit ban.

Okay, I will. But if you could give me a more detailed warning. I would really appreciate it.

Okay that’s pretty detailed. I’ll try to get a new connection. Thanks for the assist.
Upgrade your internet and you won’t have that issue anymore, sir.

I have played Halo 4 many times and never had that problem. No offense but maybe it is your skill level.
Anyone love the lag were vehicles move on their own?

It is against the forum rules to call people out. Please refrain from doing so.

[REDACTED]
That’s what he does… and these are his H4 stats: [REDACTED]According to my encounter with him and 100+ people who file complained him, he and his clan hit people offline from CTF games and other games if they manage to kill them a lot, and he brags and -Yoinks!- for hours on end to everybody in the lobby how they’re garbage and he basically talks -Yoink- likes he wants people to kill themselves. I ran into him last year, afterwards I called Xbox Live Support, and then I told my full friends list to report him, so we all at least 15 or more file complaints. Later, I found out that he got console banned (supposedly, but I haven’t heard anything from other players about him), but some of his clan-mates are still online. I played against them, and they suck. If you run into them, get the snipers first, because they thrive off of them.

I’m afraid you’re wrong, my friend. I know how to put up in a fight.
