So as the title suggest, i completed the Monthly War Games Challenge (80 matchmaking wins, 25000xp)
And initially i recieved the XP and was 8000xp from SR-46.
Logged on this morning to find it rolled back to 34000 from SR-46.
Shouldn’t of been capped, I watched the XP roll forward towards 46.
I know it isn’t a whole lot of XP to -Yoink- about but I play rarely play this game and takes me forever to get 80 wins.
Could I get the XP credited back please? It shows that it’s been completed so obviously I can’t do it again.
i’ve also just finished a team slayer match to check out whether or not it was a glitch, and no, still 31500 from 46.
I know theres been a million topics on this but I need to get the attention of mods/devs/staff.

While I can’t tell you what caused it, I can tell you that your XP won’t get awarded to you 
That sucks big time.

Looks like I won’t get my hopes up for this challenge either, just in case it does happen. Sorry what happened, but 25,000 XP isn’t that much anyways if you think about it. Some or a lot of people may disagree with me, I just don’t think it’s that much. However, I know how you feel. All that hard work for nothing, It’s happened to me once before on Halo 4.

Halo 4 is a little odd in the fashion in the matter that it saves data. Sometimes (And this includes changes in armor to register for Waypoint as well as XP gains from challenges) Halo 4 for whatever reason doesn’t like to save changes from certain things unless you are to play a game or two. I have this happen to me already when I was trying to get to SR 130 and was ‘redacted’ a level, because after earning a weekly challenge and turning off my system, Halo 4 didn;t save the end result.
What I can recommend in the future is whenever you complete a challenge that offers a good amount of XP, play an extra game or two to ensure the XP from the challenge ‘sticks’ as Halo 4 is forced to save stats therefore after playing games, whereas it is not after earning XP from challenges. I hope this helps you out and sorry to hear about the ‘redacting’ of XP you earned from a challenge.

Edit: To help with your loss of XP, I offer this . You will have to enter the newly discovered gylph code (Thanks Section 3 ) on the Xbox 360 Halo Waypoint app, as the classified section has yet to be implemented on the new Halo Waypoint site. The code will give you 100000 XP (You will get your 25000 back, plus 75000) and some nice Orbital SWFT Armor 
. Just make sure to play a game or two after entering it to ensure it sticks.
You can always re-gain XP by entering waypoint codes. Just google “Waypoint codes”
