Lost puppies in every game

Sorry, I edited last when you were replying

Yes H5 had around 100 req variants, probably the same amount of standard variants (AR, BR, DMR, SMG, PISTOL), then vehicle variants too.

I think there’s 20 in infinite (I said 12 in a much earlier post - I think my menu froze), but there are variants too (I don’t have campaign yet but think only 1 additional variant so max 40). FINGERS CROSSED - ALL AVAILABLE IN TUES FIESTA PLAYLIST UPDATE.

To be fair to H5 the balancing of such huge weapon numbers was really good once they’d nerfed and buffed.

Yo I absolutely agree. Honestly I wish they take out CTF from ranked. I do not dislike the mode but its not something I wanna play for ranked. Literally I am getting sick of running around with the flag and no one is around to defend me. I also had a game where we were winning 1-0, 10 seconds from ending. Literally all we had to do was holding out for a few seconds. Guess what? A guy on my team betrayed me when I had the flag, few ft from scoring, all because he probably wanted to score the flag instead. That action has literally costed us the game, because he found himself 1v2, and he was killed. Then the enemy returned the flag, and our flag was basically at the enemy base at that point. So they score 1-1 and we go extra time. And then they score 2-1.

Yeah, no, sorry. Why should I bother playing ranked with teammates like that? Its so frustrating.

Yeah I don’t want to see CTF or any objective removed. It proves and cements teamwork and anything done for pros should be in ranked because that’s the ultimate thing people can strive for.

There’s nothing better than being against an obvious team of 4 with their matching emblems, armour and pre-match trash talk then us 4 morons being thrown together not saying a word to each other absolutely destroy them.

The problem is there should be a separate ranked slayer (slayer later expected to be social) and people should work as a team even if not using chat or know each other.

Solo and duo should also match people up properly in ranked and social.

I don’t think they should remove it from Ranked, but you probably need to have an actual team if you want to win more than you lose.

When it comes to team objectives game types I always assist players depending on the game type. For example.

Capture the flag. I keep an eye for for players in a warthog or mongoose because there’s an opportunity. It doesn’t always work but when it does it’s so satisfying.

Team work makes the dream work.

Yet people still crash…

Or maybe we should have separate ranked playlists. Honestly I just want Slayer and Oddball.

I have read your whole post. Thank you for your lengthy explanation.

Being new is definitely a little hard. I was never really inclined to play, I was happy with a couple of simple games I had on my iPad. My husband has always played Halo, including with our three daughters. Our eldest was 13 when we got the original X-Box. I can remember her showing up here from High School, with three or four boys in tow ( uh-hum ) to play split screen against each other. She was really good. I can remember one boy in particular, Jason, who endlessly complained about her killing him straight away. The younger two girls also joined in later. Over the years my husband has tried to get the girls involved in things he loves, motorcross, shooting etc. but the only thing that lingered, was Halo. All three are pretty good. The eldest and youngest have moved out, the one still at home has an X-Box one and an X-Box S. The eldest is now married with kids, my son-in-law and grandson, are on the playstation. My Husband has harassed me recently to join in, which I did and found it pretty good. I was just a little disappointed with the in-game behaviour. It doesn’t worry my husband, he gives as good as he gets. He gets together with his brothers and they spend 10 minutes insulting each other, before they even say hello. I posted what had happened in game and how I felt about your original post and several players reached out with tips and friend requests, I thank each and every one of you.
I’d also like to thank you, once again, for explaining what you actually meant. AND, once again, thank you to everyone who posted words of encouragement and sent friend requests.
All this = FAITH RESTORED IN HUMANITY

So far, I have just dabbled in 5. The weapons list is massive. Same with vehicles, armour and helmets. My husband took a couple of years to unlock them all.

I agree.
Having Ranked Team Slayer and Ranked Team Objective would be nice, since I really don’t like Capture the Flag.

I wonder if Halo Infinite will have as many weapons, vehicles and armors.

I actually didn’t know what this meant ( new to game ) and I asked my husband what it means. He burst into laughter and explained it to me. I now understand, it’s a special, sacred ritual and apparently, an important aspect of playing Halo. Boys wil be boys. AND YES, OK, it’s funny. :joy:
If I listed out everything my husband does, from riding his bike around the property really fast with no helmet on, cleaning his guns on the dining room table, to the ABSOLUTE MESS and his body covered in bruises after a day of paintball, teabagging is the tiniest drop in the ocean. LOL
So, in the spirit of the game, I hope to get a kill and bob up and down on your dead body. :kangaroo:

There sure are a lot of people that blindly bum rush everything. It’s so easy to out smart people in this game lol.

4 vs 4 strong hold I often find myself just trying to hold off a specific point while my three teammates try to snag another. Sit near the point, in a spot you don’t expect the enemy to check. Wait till the point starts to get captured, tossed a grenade on the point and then clean up with your guns.

Same is in slayer matches where you just run around a corner, figure where people expect you to go, then hide where you don’t expect them to think to check, watch them run right past you for melee back hand blows.

Hell, I’m starting to get the hang of running around the corner, watch the radar, then jump backwards ducking right over people for a blow to the back of their heads lol.

Very sacred and if you deserve to be on the receiving end then all is fine and can accept it. It’s when you’ve beaten them 50-10 and they then -Yoink!- you and you’re fuming because they have no right

My Challenge: Win a slayer match,

My teammate: 1 in 18.
My other teammate: 2 in 12.
My third teammate: quit the game 8 minutes ago.

An excellent summation.

I am beginning to understand - if you are 1 kill and 30 deaths, inappropriate, if you are 30 kills and 1 death, engage in the sacred ritual :kangaroo:
