Yeah, I’m on PC as well.
I wonder if PC-players just don’t run into many Xbox players.
Also, yeah, Discord seems to be a popular alternative to party chat on PC…

I’ve also run into people who didn’t use their mic until they decided to insult our team at the end of a lost game.

I love when I’m speed juggling the flag or multiple batteries, and some clown decides to intercept me and walk super slow, only to waste my time and die, or make us lose. I equally love terrible drivers, and players that bring the flag to the flag instead of base in BTB. My favorite is when players hog all the power weapons, get in a vehicle, and immediately die. Runner up for favorite is people that spend the whole match screaming in chat that nobody is good on the team, when I swear I’m the only one that has even touched the objective. Playing with randoms is always awful. Luckily I finished my battle pass already and I can just chill now. I finished campaign too, so I have nothing to do but play just to play. Waiting for the next Tenrai event part I guess.

people don’t seem to understand that you don’t return the flag to where your flag is anymore in BTB I actually enjoy the change in the flag positions after it’s captured… was playing a game on fracture guy takes the flag to our flag, and i’m kinda facepalimg the whole time as i see him realize he can’t turn in the flag there and hes like what 10-20 meters from the flag capture area/spot, I think what doesn’t help is that in BTB you don’t have to have your flag at home to score either… further causing confusion.

Are you saying that you can’t return the flag to there, or that you can’t capture the flag there?

I’m not great at the game, I don’t use my mic as often as my keyboard, and I can’t say we’ll get along well, but it might be nice to play with the same people in more than one match.

You cannot capture the flag where your flag spawns in BTB there’s a seperate turn in area… Flags will also be in one of three spots depending on how many captures the opposing team has… i think not sure of the exacts of that i do know the flag spawns in one of 3 diffrent spots and changes if a succesful capture is done by the offending team.

I’ve played a few BTB CTFs for awhile now it’s quiet fun i think. THough i wish you had to have your flag home to score…
I actually like the difference of not having to have the flag at home to score.
By the way, are the dropdown spoilers in some of my posts visible and working?
I don’t know if people are ignoring them when I use them, or if they just can’t see or don’t know about them.

Exactly! I hear a decent amount of obviously new players on the voice chat and try to help them out where I can. I don’t understand why people have to be so completely awful, it’s just a game we’re all playing for fun. I’m sorry people have been horrible to you. You’re trying hard to learn, and that’s commendable. I hope you aren’t driven away from the game because of other peoples’ behavior. Add my gamertag if you’d like to join up sometime

The mic is away and the X-Box is muted. Those who want to hurl abuse may as well talk to their door knob, I can’t hear any of it now.
They can, my husband has blocked a couple for me. I am glad that is a feature.
