I started playing Halo Reach tonight and my campaign progress, Spartan id, all armor and colors were gone. Thankfully my rank is intact and my commendations are intact, but all other aspects are gone. I had made it all the way to Pillar Of Autumn. When I go to select mission, the first one is all that is there. Is there any way to recover all my progress?
Its a temporal problem, it happens to me. What you shall do is or turn off Xbox Live and put it back on, or take off a Harddrive or Memory Unit if you have, or just wait a while turn off the console and come back later. It happens to me, sometimes i just wait and everithing is back to normal, i believe the problem is that the Xbox is trying to find your stuff and forgot where it put it, until it finally find it. I have checked back several times and it still isn’t back. I guess I will just start the campaign over and not let it bother me.
I’ve had the same issue myself. All my armor, commendations, credits, etc. are intact, but my progress in the campaign isn’t. I’ve beaten the game solo on Legendary and I have the achievements to prove it yet the game acts like I haven’t played the campaign at all so I had to start all over.
Mine did too, but it was because I turned off my console while a save was being written. Had to do it all over again.
I lost my progress from warrent officer 3 times twice at grade 2 and once at grade 3 my medals and service record proves it. I kinda would like those credits back but I don’t think anything can be done. Thankfully I’m major now and no lose of progress. But still does not help that the old set of progress was lost many times for no reason.

A long time ago, when I played offline, I was maybe a colonel, and the whole game reset on me. I lost literally all my progress. After that, I have never gotten that high with rank again because I just couldn’t get the same credits as before. I called it a BlackOut. Luckily it hasn’t happened again.
I had this issue on one of my other accounts (console pre owned) this account had Xbox live but i cooul never sign in online even though I had the internet. So I played offline for so long I managed to the rank of Lt. Colonel then suddenly everything disappeared from my armory except everything from the operator Helmer and backwards, credits we’re missing and I had been reset to warrant officer. It’s been like this for almost two years and It still hasn’t fixed itself. HELP
I have a similar problem, I play on Xbox one, and had to redownload my account after changing the gamertag. Afterwards, everything is normal, except online I appear to be a recruit with standard armor. Anyone have any ideas/fixes? Tried restarting.

I recently did the same and have been having the same problem, I think it’s just the servers to be honest.
Going to close this off as there are a few topics about this in the support forums, also this is a 5 year old thread
