About 4 years ago I pre ordered HALO Reach, and the bonus i got was the Recon helmet with the attachment on the top. But now that i have gotten a new Xbox i have no clue how to re download the helmet as i no longer have the code.
The code can only be used once and is stuck on your old xbox. I think, however, if you have the same profile it may be under your recent downloads list. If not, I think you get the recon helmet anyway from leveling up.
If you are using the same XBL account on your new console, simply press the guide button, go right to the Settigs tab, then down to Account Management. There you will see a Download History option where you can view every DLC you have downloaded. Simply find the Recon Helmet (not sure what its called) and redownload.
Not sure if a licence transfer is needed but its best to do one so that all DLC downloaded on your old console will be registered to your new console.
