Lost my rank! "Server Unavailable"

Hello,

I’m a level 49 spartan in Halo 4 but yesterday I’ve been having issues. While my service record shows my armour and current stats, online games I show up as a level 1. The commendations won’t earn xp, there is a message that says:

“Cannot earn commendations. The Halo 4 server is unavailable or you chose to remain an offline Spartan”

This really sucks because I can’t use load outs and wear my preferred armour in game. How can I fix this? What is a offline Spartan?

Check your Halo 4 network settings and make sure it’s on Xbox Live.

My network settings on in the Halo 4 options menu are set to Xbox Live. Is there another place to set network settings to online?

this happened to me loads today signing out and signing back in worked for me

I’m still unable to use any of my stuff or gain XP. I tried signing in n’ out plus I’ve tried waiting for a day, no change. If there is anyone in the halo network or if you have ideas to try, please respond.

Am in the exact same position since yesterday. Can’t even earn any xp to see if going up a lvl would fix it. Signed in and out plenty and nothings helped. Right now it’s completely unplayable

reset your modem & restart your xbox…when this happened to me i just went to the dashboard & restarted my game & it was back to normal

Did both. It shows network is on live. And I just reset modem and restarted xbox and it’s still the same

I don’t mean to spam but this is important. Something on the Halo network needs to be changed so I can play the game with load outs and my current rank.

I’m having the exact same problem, I have reset everything I can and tried any fixes I’ve come across online… No change, stuck at level SR1 but I still can view my loadouts, etc.

Mine is doing the same thing at level 49, I have also tried all of the suggestions. It is still saying I’m a level 1 and I’m not gaining experience.

My friend is having the same problem. He is still earning xp, though

Same problem here just posted a thread about it then i noticed multiple people having my problems, I really wish i could play right now -Yoink!- it.

You revert back to an SR-1 when the servers are down. You can play on back up servers though. I don’t know if the XP you get during that time is added back into your account when the real servers come back online.

If main servers are down, does that mean that my rank will fix when 343 gets the main servers back online?

Omg this is the first time I played in a week and will not bramble to play for. A week after today it 343 have turned my day to crap with this stupid problem that they should have fixed by now :frowning: has any one had any luck ?
