I noticed that I’ve lost my Halo 4 pre-order receipt and wondering if I could just use the information I gave them when I pre-ordered it. I gave them my name, zip code, address, and phone number.
Well first off, who did you pre-order from?
I would contact your local store where you pre-ordered it.

An ID should suffice, as long as you can confirm that the pre-order is yours.
First: Who did you pre-order the game from.
2nd: Call or go to said store and ask for a new reciept. Your ID or telephone number should suffice.
3rd: get reciept.
4th: dont lose it!

it’s best to go back to where you preordered it as soon as possible. it’ll usually be on record for at least 30 days. if you can give them the date and time of when you purchased it, it’ll be easier for them to track it. from there, they may possibly print you a new receipt. better safe than sorry.
They will look you up in the system but you must have a valid ID to show your proof that you are indeed the one who preordered.

That happened to me for Halo 3, I tore my house apart looking for it I found it in the end just before I left to go get the game.

All you need is an ID. The associate will ask for phone number most likely and then the ID to confirm the info. No need to call the store or get another receipt.

As a GameStop employee, you should also be mentioning the power-up rewards card.
Lol i never keep my receipts i always just go in around 8pm on release day and get a new one they ask for your phone number or last name then print it off and you’re good.
one day they will know my number by heart…
