Lost my boost

So I just played a warzone and used up my last legendary RP boost, surprise surprise I got lagged out.
and gues what? I was playing on focused mode! My wifi is usually very good and everything else was working fine.
but these ‘dedicated servers’ aren’t working.

the focus option is useless it makes no difference and I’m still experienceing players teleporting through the air. Also I don’t remember the last time I joined a game that wasn’t already in progress.

Rant over

I’m sure it has happened to a large majority of players. I know how you feel, been there, done that, took a few pictures.

Iirc you should get it back, just play another game or was that for gamble ones only?

Maybe you need to reset your build ?
But I agree the servers can be quite bad, and as of late have been -BLAM!-

Your mistake is using WiFi… use a wired connection and do a hard restart before playing H5.

Also you state usually working good… well maybe this wasn’t usual… Xbox one WiFi isn’t very good especially for a game that take a up the space that H5 takes.

I always play on WiFi and I rarely experience issues with getting dropped, has probably only happened twice in the last month.

You should get your boost back after a game or 2 OP, this was a recent change made to how boosts work

> Many of you likely caught the news last week, but we’ve made an update to Boosts to ensure that they’re only cashed in (spent or used) if you satisfy the conditions of the boost. For example, if you play a Mission Victory and lose, rather than lose the potential bonus and the card, the card will now be returned to your collection. You should still, however, go for the W, and be proud when you get it. This update is particularly helpful in the event of a disconnect or other weirdness, and we hope it makes your RP and XP gains all the sweeter.

Ive done this and it has made no difference, as the problem is not in the wifi. its on the dedicated server. on their end, not mine.

And i don’t understand if this is the case, why i don’t get refunded. I’ve played several games since, restarted xbox, router, and still am missing the legendary boost i used. no refund here. And i could almost understand if it was my fault, like if i had a bad connection on my end. but i don’t. i have a wired connection and my router never lost and kind of power or anything so i know it was their fault not mine

I do have a wired connection, also reset build, played a game of warzone and didn’t get it back or the points

It may take more than one game for the items to come back. I tested this out with some friends a few nights ago and it a took a few games of Infection before their boost was returned. I imagine there may be some kind of queuing / caching system that holds items and then pushes out periodically to control server traffic. That’s at least how I would do it myself
