Lost message with free month of gold

I got the free month of gold by messaged code because I didn’t have gold already but I had to go through the support forum. The message auto deleted itself or something I guess because the message is gone. I didn’t use it because my Xbox power supply unit stopped working and I didn’t want to waste gold and I didn’t write the code down. Is it possible for support to look at the message that was sent to me so I can get the code back, or can I get a new code? Please help!

Xbox live messages automatically expire after 30 days and I think the expiry of message is also affected if your inbox is full. I would try contacting Xbox live support and see if they can help, failing that possibly passing a message on to B is for Bravo (community manager) and see if he and the team can help. Always advisable to write codes down and keep them somewhere safe in the event of expiry or accidental deletion

I contacted Xbox live support and they said to come here. Also, they said that codes weren’t given out, but they obviously don’t know what they are talking about since I got one. How do I contact B is for Bravo?

Derp. Yeah is seems that not everyone at XBL support gets the details of what’s happening, I think a lot of the time the staff you deal with are like volunteers / ambassadors. if you want to contact Bravo, you can either PM hom here on the forums - B is for Bravo or send him a tweet. I’d generally say twitter is better due to notifications. Again, not sure if he can help, but it’s always worth a try. Do let us know how you get on.
