Lost huge chunk of campaign progress

Fell partially through wreckage I was standing on. Game decided that was a perfect time to have a checkpoint save. Now I’m stuck in limbo and can’t even kill myself to get out because the checkpoint reloads me right back in. I was just finishing up the end of pelican down but now have to restart mission all over again.

This game is such a piece of hot garbage right now. It needed probably at least another year in production with all of these obvious incompetent people working at 343.

It’s always unfortunate when you receive an unlucky checkpoint which leads to an endless death loop or a state where you are stuck. The only advice that I can give in this scenario is to restart the mission and to reconsider your strategies in order to avoid such situations in the future.
