I bought and installed pshysical (Halo 5). Now I have lost my CD, how can I play without it?

You can’t I’m afraid OP, your disc acts as your licence key to let you play. To play without a disc you need to purchase a digital copy
yes thank you. Now that i know this it seems unfair, that one should pay the same for physical as digital, but digital purchase will never lose the game or quality, as physical can/will eventually experience wear-n-tear. And I also read somewhere that digital buyers received a free cd.
I believe all halo 5 owners (digital and physical) should be allowed to play without a disc at all times. And I dont think it would be too hard to fix this.

That’s the decision you have to make when you chose either digital or disc. Disc means you have the physical item and can resell it or lend it to a friend, but also it is vulnerable to being lost or scratched. Digital means you can access it on any console you sign in to any time you like, it’s tied to your account but you can game share with others on your console. When you buy a disc copy the disc acts as your license check to prove you have the right to play it, If you remove that check then all it takes is 1 person to buy the disc and hand it out to al their friends, free game for everyone. Unless you go down the route of generated codes or something, the best method really is how it works now.
