I bought this game the other day (I’ve been busy trying to get Destiny to work for the past four months). It took about 7 hours to install, which I assume includes the 15GB! of updates (How the hell does a game this new have such a huge update right off the bat?).
I’m trying to watch the Nightfall episodes, but I keep getting the following message “You are not connected to xbox live and will not be able to access this feature.”
I am signed in to xbox live, I can see my friends etc. Any ideas about what’s going on here?
I think it’s pretty scary that both Bungie and 343 have released broken software. Is this stuff getting so complicated that the developers just can’t handle it? Or are they being pushed too fast by their big corporate masters to get the game to market? Deadlines are useless if you can’t achieve the desired result.
If the products I build performed this way, I would have lost my job a long time ago.
