During Halo 5, I had a particular issue that still follows me today that deals with the servers. For me I have a very limited connection and sometimes that make it hard to play on Halo 5’s dedicated servers. In which case in Halo 5 if I experience the slightest lag spike it immediately kicks me out of the game saying Lost Connection and will even promptly ban me for it. This can sometimes happen instantly like with in the first 1 second of a match. I am currently worried if Halo: Infinite will have this same issue? On Halo MCC I don’t have this issue as, if I do lag, I usually get a temporary black screen with player names, but it never removes me from a match. I get super frustrated when this happens in Halo 5 as sometimes I just want to enjoy the game even if I’m experience lag, but in Halo 5 it makes it hard to routinely complete my games because Halo 5 is prone to immediate kick. Again I am very worried this same situation will happen in Halo: Infinite. While I am working to get better internet, that won’t be for some time. I am wondering if anyone else has this same issue on Halo 5 and worried it will carry over to Infinite. I’m willing to bet those that do find the MCC works fine for them not straight up kicking you from a match. Just saying I’d rather deal with a black screen time to time rather than immediately being kicked and eventually banned for lag. That’s very frustrating. I figured I put this here now as i don’t see many talking about it. Am I alone on this?
I have connection issues on Halo 5 quite often too, especially in Custom Browser. My internet is very strong and I use a wire connection, Halo 5 is the only game this happens in.

thats a relief that it isn’t just me.
But one thing is, my connection issues aren’t the same as yours since I have 0 lag really. I just disconnect from custom games or can’t connect to servers sometimes. But if I’m in a game, I don’t have lag and don’t disconnect as far as I recall.

I still think that proves the point though about how bad the servers are sometimes. Yes I prob had more set back but if you with way better internet still has issues something is definitely wrong there.
Yes, custom browser games are very buggy. Working toward the Timmy Helmet was a living hell…

Oh it’s not just you. Ever since the monitors bounty update, I get disconnected a pile! I have played since day 1 and have been hard wired the entire time. Doesn’t matter if it’s ranked, soical, custom browser whatever! It’s mega strange!
Here’s the kicker though. If I play Halo 5 wireless though, I’m find. If I play any other game online hardwired, it’s find. Xbox knows about the issue and has no answers for it either. Halo 5 definitely has issues when it comes to the servers.
You’re not alone, I use to have a horrible internet connection and the same thing would happen to me too, it got to the point I didn’t even care to play until I got a better setup, which eventually I did.

Right. It just seems weird they didn’t plan for that, also not to mention there are times when players leave a match the Custom Games will freeze. Or when you end a game the game will also freeze. I’m hoping they’ll flesh this out a bit? TO make it not so Harrowing.

H5 was rushed after all, it’s not that surprising 6o me. This late in the game I really don’t think something like that is of their concern unfortunately. You’re probably just gonna have to deal with it until A) you get a better internet setup or B) hopefully Infinite doesn’t have that problem.

well my goal here is to bring that attention to Infinite. I know Halo 5 is left in the dust.
